Camping Le Petit Trianon de Saint Ustre is a castle campsite in Poitou. In this region you can enjoy the Roman art of the centuries old churches and the avant-garde techniques in Futuroscope. Castles and country houses are in abundance and one of them is Le Petit Trianon. At the foot of the castle towers you'll experience a holiday characterized by comfort, peace and space.

Princely welcome

Once you arrive on the campsite and behind the entrance, you'll see a well maintained property with high trees and an open field in front of the seventeenth century castle. In the reception, housed in the castle, you'll receive a princely welcome from the owners. Their campsite is very spacious and makes a quiet and peaceful impression. The pitches are relatively large, so you have enough space for all of your gear.

Camping in the trees

Except for the usual mobile homes and a number of cottages, you can hire a unique tree house (for two people) on the campsite Le Petit Trianon de Saint Ustre. You climb up some stairs to an attractive wooden hut. A real "nest under the stars". You hire the hut with hotel service: bed service and breakfast!

For the little ones

There is a lovely swimming pool (with small slide) on the campsite. Children can play in the playground, jump in the bouncy castle or play on the mini golf course. In the high season there is an entertainment team for the little campers.

Regional dishes

The campsite does not have a restaurant, but for lunch or dinner you can go next door to the Auberge de la Ferme. They serve lovely local dishes.

"This family campsite located around a castle in rural area has spacious plots and a heated swimming pool. Great starting point for a visit to the Romanesque churches, the castles and rivers of Poitou and Touraine. Also renting of Teepees."

Liked - My son had a lovely time as lots of children and he made some friends to play with. He loved the pool and inflatables. The ladies on reception were lovely, really friendly and helpful.
Disliked - Toilet and shower facilities unfortunately weren’t clean during our stay. Chemical toilet emptying area also wasn’t clean, and tap next to it wasn’t working. Although my son loved swimming area and inflatable - that also needed a really good clean…

Liked - I liked the environment, the campsite is very nice and spacious. the beautiful nights. and also, for children they have many things, to highlight, the zip line.

Liked - Setting was lovely staff were friendly ,restaurant waa excellent
Disliked - The bathrooms were not great .The floor was always wet and slippy.
There is no accessible toilet .The one with wheelchair sign has only childs toilet and the accessible shower doubles as childs one so always in use and hard to get access too

Liked - The accommodation was fine and clean, the airco was a good added feature.
Disliked - We had to arrange diner on the first night ourselves although we made a reservation. And had to ask for baby bed and chair which was also booked in advance.
