Firstly may I say this is a lovely site with a fantastic pool and excellent views. I drive my own motorhome and arrived alone after a 450 mile drive. I was shown a pitch by the male manager with an olive tree in the centre with a tight reversing area, the manager did not help me back into the pitch in fact it was a neighbouring French man that kindly helped. Over the following days I realised the said manager seemed anti me, I am told the French men do not like independent women so I guess this was his problem. The site has a 10.30pm curfew on their entrance gate, I returned late after a meal with my visiting son, the gate which is on an extremely steep slope was locked. I was unable to reverse up to level ground so my son and I spent an uncomfortable night sleeping at an acute angle. I had left a note apologising for missing the gate closing times only to be awoken at 7.45am by the same male manager who then proceeded to shout and point at me, he then told me not to turn my engine on and to roll into the site as everyone was asleep at 7.45am? I tried to explain that my power steering didn't work without the engine running to which he said it would work and demanded that he drive my motorhome! I ended up turning on my engine to the sound of his rantings and drove in safely. I may be female but I am perfectly able to drive my own motorhome and do not expect such rudeness from a staff member who suffers sexual discrimination problems. After all I am the customer! I was never apologised to by this unprofessional man who needs a good lesson on how to treat all types of customers.
We stayed here on the spur of the moment as they were able to find a pitch for us. The family were extremely helpful and friendly and look after the campsite well. The views of the mountains, being the backdrop of Cannes, are wonderful. The shower facilities etc. were kept extremely clean. We loved the pool and pool area which was very relaxing. We only ate an ice-cream at the snack bar as we headed out for dinner that night. We would definitely return here.
july 2014.excellent camp site, stopped over for 2 nights and stayed for 8.so peaceful and clean.everybody we meet some been back several times having the same opinion as are selves. would defiantly return and recommend.
Exceptionally friendly staff. Pleasant pool and snack bar area. The site has large terraced pitches - access to the site and some pitches may be difficult for large units. Beautiful surroundings and a great place to relax.
One of the most friendly sites you can visit, the French owners are excellent as they ensure your stay is perfect. The site is terraced but Jack will manoeuvre your caravan onto the plot with his 4 wheel drive. Maintenance and hygiene of the site are excellent. The surrounding area is beautiful and you are within easy driving distance of the main cities in the area.
We have had many holidays at this site, and I would and have recommended it to both family and friends for me to do that it has got to be good. The owner and his wife are most pleasant and welcoming and to my surprise has reconised us from previous visits even down to the size of our tent even though it had been two years. The facilities are spotless and cleaned regularly to a very high standard, and regardless of how busy they are there's always a smile and a greeting when they see you. The view and surroundings are absolutely superb and can be quiet breath taking.
This is an excellent site for peace & quiet in beautiful surroundings, with fantastic views. As it is the mountains the site is terraced and some pitches may be a bit small, but the quality of the facilities makes up for that! The owners are very helpful and keep an immaculate site.
This was our fifth one-night stop-over on our drive down to the Riviera, and was the best of the 5. The owners were extremely welcoming, and kept the site and facilities immaculately. Being perched on the side of a steep hillside, it is not suitable for large caravans or motorhome, and the pitch the owner suggested for even our smallish motorhome (under 6m) was near the entrance, to avoid tricky negotiation of the site's tracks. The view from there was spectacular. The nearby village is very pleasant to wander around, and has all the necessary amenities, but it is a fairly strenuous walk up to it (short but very steep).
