In the picturesque region of the Provence, lies the small camping site called Le Devançon. Here you will be camping at a peaceful location in the woods. This primarily French camping site is perfect for those looking for some peace and quiet as well as lovers of culture and the great outdoors. The region that you are in is very popular with tourists, but you'll hardly notice them when you are on the camping site. It is wonderful to come home to this small, green oasis after a day out.
The wooded terrain provides a sense of calm and gets excellent shade in several areas. Other locations get more sunlight. The pitches are located on terraces and are relatively flat. The pitches here have a gravel surface. Low hedges mark off the pitch boundaries to a certain extent. Want to hire something? If so, you can book a great mobile home or bungalow.
Swimming, hiking and cycling
The swimming pool and children's pool are beautiful. They have been built in a simple yet stylish way. You can swim a few laps and then relax on a lounger.
Children can enjoy themselves in the small play area and on the trampoline or play a game of table tennis. Activities are held on the camping site as well. The area around the camping site is great for brilliant hiking and biking adventures: there are all sorts of routes laid out through this extensive wooded terrain.
A drink at the lively bar
The bar on the camping site, which is decorated in a retro style, is a great place to relax after a day full of cultural activities, hiking or biking. You can also grab something to eat at the snack bar. There is a charming patio between the bar and the swimming pool, in the shade of the trees. You can purchase fresh bread every day on the camping site.

We arrived at Campsite Le Devancon while touring France and liked it so much that we stayed for two weeks. It is a relatively small, quiet, site with excellent facilities. Our pitch was large and offered sufficient shade. The washrooms and showers were spotless and the swimming pool well maintained. The site is perfectly located for visiting Aix-en-Provence and Marseille, both of which can be reached on local buses. The staff are very helpful and are willing to provide information about walks in the nearby mountains and places to visit.
A lovely peaceful well kept site. After the noise and hectic feel of a site near Frejus we were so relieved to settle in here for a couple of days & chill out under the pine trees. Made use of the nice pool area & washing machine. Good location to travel south to Cassis / Marseille for a day trip. Or north to see the lavender fields near Valensole. Very friendly & helpful owner but limited English. We got by though. Best to book online we found rather than via email. Supermarkets a short drive (can order bread/Croissants daily onsite) good access roads from Autoroutes. Final approach a bit steep & narrow so take it slowly.
Lovely campsite with hard standings under very big trees. Excellent toilet/shower facilities, extremely clean and all new. A credit to the site. Area excellent for cycling, although site up a very steep hill but close by is the flat cycle track. The best baguettes and croissant's ever.
Cannot fault this site. Modern clean facilities, plenty of hot water when needed. Lovely clean pool. Plenty of water points. Quiet site, only 20 mins walk into Peynier. Plenty of dog walking in the woods next to site.
This well located camp has spatious pitches and a nice pool. Cleaning and toilet facilities are clean but tend to be very busy when the camp is full on high season.
We used this site to visit friends in Marseilles so we did not spend much time on site, the owners were pleasant and helpful especially with regard to getting the caravan onto its pitch. Pitches were large with some shade. Toilet and showers were modern and spotless. One word of warning the gates shut at night you are given the security number to open the small gate but we were unable to open in and were preparing to sleep in our car when others arrives and showed us that with the security number you had to touch an additional symbol. When we visit our friends again this site will definitely be used again
An excellent small campsite, very helpful and friendly staff. good location for village,Aix-en - Provence and Marseille. We are already thinking of going again next year as we enjoyed our 2 week stay so much. A little gem !!
Very "offthebeatentrack" from the village.Pitches a good size. The "Facilities" are modern and very clean- too "modern" for us.Showers/WC's/Washing-up "back-to-back" all under one roof- and Uni-sex too. No seats on the loos. Pity!
We stayed one night on our way to Nice. It was a very quiet site up hill from the main road out of the village. The facilities were clean and fresh. Gravel pitches.
A smallish campsite within walking distance of the village of Peynier. Nearest supermarket at Trets 5 km. Pitches varied in size - some large ones at bottom of site under pine trees, others more open.
Wonderful scenery in the area and only approx. 45km to coast. Recommended.
