Not worth the effort. Pitches very close, long walk to single shower block. Apart from ferry, not much to see. Giens very nice, 3km away.
No problem getting in to this site early July. People seem to stay a couple of days to take the ferry to Porquerolles. Ferry is a couple of minutes walk from the site. There are also beaches close to the site and sea views from some pitches. Reception very helpful - sells discount ferry tickets. Site quiet, clean and well run. Pitches tend to slope - need levelling wedges for campervan.
Lovely staff. Able to pick preffered pitch. Lovely views out to sea on terraced pitches. Excellent toilet/shower facilities. Can cycle into Hyeres on quiet roads in around 30 minutes. Very pretty ittle coves a short walk away . Ferry is minutes away but nothing else in vicinity other than two restaurants.
Excellent. The pitch was a bit of a squeeze for our caravan and awning but we managed. Toilet facilities were great with masses of hot water throughout the day and very clean. Staff very friendly with a good command of English. Good beaches and good windsurfing! Will certainly come back here.
A little gem out of the hustle and bustle of Hyeres and right next to the med. Friendly at reception and speak good English. Could pick your site. Tight for a big motorhome but we made it. Lovely swimming left or right of the campsite. Great place to explore on bikes. Clean facilities and we had a great stay. Amazing it wasn't busy even in July!
Pitches are on sandy mud and sloping. They are not very big and require some "shunting" to fit on. The sanitaires are superb, probably the best of my touring holiday. Easy access to the sea but not really a beach as such. Just rocks down steep stairs. Good walking straight from the site. Overall recommended for a stay of a few days.
This site is adjacent to a rocky beach with lovely clean waters. Unfortunately has no swimming pool. Plenty of shade.
Good site if you are taking the ferry out to the golden islands
We visited this site for 2 nights in our motorhome, in order to visit the Ile de Porquerolles. It was ideally placed for this purpose, being right next to the passenger ferry terminal. We took our own bikes on the ferry (expensive), but it was worth having them, so we could explore a reasonable amount of the island in a day. Alternatively, hire bikes when you get there. We found a fabulous beach on the island a few km to the east of the only town. There is a pleasant coastal walk from just outside the campsite too. As far as the site itself is concerned, the facilities are very clean and more than enough for the size of the site, but are all near the entrance, so you can be faced with a long walk (or bike ride!) to reach them. The pitches are a little small and on a slight side-slope, but other than that the surroundings are pleasant. We got a very friendly welcome, and lots of help with a problem we had with the 'van' while there.
