Second year in row now to this campsite, and didn't fail again. Always enjoyed our stay there easy access to local areas, St maxim, Fréjus, St Raphael, Cannes, St Tropez etc... We hired bikes from campsite and used them to get about and local transport. Staff always helpful, this campsite is perfect for us and our road trips, will definatly be revisiting next year on 2017 road trip. One concern is the amount of permanent pitches there are, now leaving less and less space for campers or camper vans?? I hope this isn't going to become more permenament sites and less campsites, this would ruin this campsite as while there my wife and I noticed they quite a few empty whereas last year every pitch available had a tent, caravan or campervan on it?? Hope next year we can get on as like I said this site is perfect location, and amenities and staff are second to none always willing to help and very polite. Please don't ruin it by making it all or majority permanent pitches....
We stayed here as final stop on road trip,, what can we say it's was beautiful easy access to beach and local area, pitch good size toilets clean, staff very helpful especially the girls in reception.
Enjoyed our stay on this site. Positives are that its very near to the beach and you can easily cycle to Frejus, St Raphael and St Aygulyf, all worth a visit. The swimming pool is lovely and clean and the temperature of the pool is good. We were near the back of the campsite and the toilet block there is a bit run down, worth the walk to the new block. Motorhome service point easily accessible. During our two night stay, we had a forest fire and the worst storm all in one day - the site is in a flood plain and at one point they thought they might have to evacuate the campsite due to the forest fire. As is normal for this area, the pitches were small and quite tight to manoeuvre into. We enjoyed our stay though and would recommend.
This is, without doubt, one of the best sites we’ve stayed at in France. We booked a week and stayed for almost three. The owner was very friendly with helpful staff. We stayed on a pitch near the river Argens and the scenery was stunning with a colony of parakeets in the trees across from our caravan. There were plenty of showers available although one section was closed as it was going to be renovated for next season. I just hope they dont reduce the pressure or temperature as the showers, although dated, were great. The pitches were spacious and easily held our caravan, car and awning. The pool area was clean with the water heated and was a great place to relax with plenty of sun beds. The little snack bar was cheap and the supermarket on site sold delicious bread. I was told that in the height of the season they sold 1,000 baguettes a day. The beach, about 700 yards away down a track through a conservation area, was lovely looking over to Frejus on one side and St Aygulf on the other. We cycled to the beach and it took just a couple of minutes. Lots of cycling in the area and the village of Gourdon in the mountains is a must. Be aware that in October there is a massive mountain bike event and the site will be busy.
We stayed here for 2 weeks in May and arrived to a very friendly welcome, everything was open and the shop had reasonable prices, a lovely heated pool, an an enthusiastic animation team. The pitch avenues were lovely, part shady and well marked and a good size. The sanitaire blocks were a little dated but were in the process of being updated and work was going on while we were there. There's a lovely beach with different sections , which is about 10 mins walk? The lovely river Argens flows along one side of the site. The only downsides to this site is that it is off a very busy fast road with the entrance/exit on an almost blind bend. (not easy when towing). Also the dog/lead rule was not being applied and there were too many loose dogs. We enjoyed our stay.
Arrived to a friendly welcome , plenty of information at reception but you need to ask for bus time table .Nice clean pool with beach 1/2 mile . Level pitches ,motorhome service area and it's a good one . Water park nearby but closed on our visit . Yes a nice clean tidy site but could get very busy at peak times .
In motorhome with dog. Arrived for 2 nights extended to 7 and then another 7. Very big pitches with choice of good shade or full sun. Friendly helpful staff. Uprated security. Nice heated pool not quite enough loungers though. Shop for essentials but Geant hypermarche and commercial centre about 1 mile away in Frejus. Frejus old town, Port Frejus and Frejus plage worth a visit. Lovely nearby sandy beach, newer route and clearly longer than previous reviews but worth the walk/cycle. Beach split into naturist, dog friendly and normal. Good snack bar on beach. Can launch boats from site. Nice surrounding area, massive Arab market in Frejus near Roman amphitheatre Saturday morning for bargains. Cycle tracks to St Aygulf and Frejus from site. Bus stop outside site entrance to Frejus or St Aygulf. Highly recommended site. Would return. Only negative is shower/toilet blocks need updating but adequate.
We booked to stay for 5 nights and eventualy stayed for 3 weeks. The site is in a good location 400m from the beach by footpath. Toilet blocks are very old and are not very clean. The pitches do not drain good after wet weather. Midges are also very lively in the evening
