In the heart of the Vaucluse, northeast of the famous city of Avignon, Camping Le Pastory is a pleasant place for those looking for peace and quiet. Your tent, caravan or motorhome will be near vineyards and only ten minutes' walk from the village of Bédoin. You can swim at the municipal swimming pool or in one of the natural lakes about seven kilometres from the campsite.

Shade or sun

Here you wake up every day to the sound of the birds and you are surrounded by nature. The site has no designated spaces, yet the layout ensures enough privacy. All pitches are flat, easily accessible and vary in size. Of the three modest sanitary buildings, one is equipped for disabled campers. The well-kept mobile homes and sturdy lodges are mainly located at the edge of the forest and offer the more refined campers all the convenience in a lush setting.

Cool off in the area

For a refreshing dip, there are a few possibilities outside the campsite. A lovely municipal swimming pool can be found less than a kilometre from the campsite. There you can dive into one of the two outdoor pools. Also fun: an afternoon swim in one of the nearby lakes.

A bite to eat in the village

Although there are no eating facilities on the campsite, this is more than made up for by the range of restaurants in the village of Bédoin, some seven hundred metres away. There you will also find a supermarket and a bakery for your daily shopping. Or visit magnificent Avignon.

Liked - Cosy campsite nicely situated close to Bedoin. Fun being invited to one of the weekly petanque/boulle tournaments arranged by othe campsite guests.

Liked - Friendly reception, stayed in our motorhome, hardstanding pitches with electric. Showers, toilets, washing up and laundry facilities - basic, but adequate and clean. Great location for walking and especially cycling with the iconic Ventoux so very close. Would also recommend Lac Du Paty (7kms) for swimming and paddleboard, The Gorges du Nesque a fabulous cycle ride, the village of Crillon Le Brave a lovely walk away. Great market in Bedoin on Monday morning. During our stay the site owners were very friendly and accommodating and the site itself was very cosmopolitan - Thank you.

Liked - The staff were friendly. Close proximity to Bedoin, clothes dryers.
A Dutch couple ran boules competition which we really enjoyed. Felt like a lovely community on site. Felt very welcome. Also loved the Belgian beer night and the bread delivered to your door. Loved the area as came to cycle.
Disliked - Washing machine was industrial sized and only worked to its maximum. Lukewarm water. No designated fill up point for motor home ( although campsite owner helped us with this. Lots of facilities not working. Trees needed cutting back as catching motorhome roof. Generally needed updating but the price reflected this.
Felt like this site if was updated could be very good and owners could charge a lot more money per pitch.

Liked - We had a wonderful stay at Camping Le Pastory. We stayed in one of the Confort cabins and this proved perfect for our party of 4 friends. It was especially hot this week (30C+) and the AirCon was much appreciated. There were a number of walks (from smaller 6km to longer) and other activities nearby (the lake in Mormorion was lovely). The village of Bedouin is beautiful, with plenty of bars, restaurants and bakeries. The Carrafour was perfect for stocking up and Carpantre was only 25 mins drive away for access to larger supermarkets. A great base to explore Provence from with a community feel.
Disliked - Not anything against the venue at all - just be careful that Google Maps may try to take you down private roads by car to get there. Stay on the main road to Bedouin then go up from there.
