Camping de l'Ayguette is located in the heart of the Drôme Provençale. The beautiful surroundings consist of mountains, forests and vineyards, but also of an infinite number of picturesque villages. This is also an ideal base for walking and cycling enthusiasts. Children of all ages are well catered for; there is plenty of space to play outside and during the summer months everyone can join in with small-scale activities that suit this charming campsite.

Places in the forest

All the pitches at Camping de l'Ayguette are situated around the vineyard. This means a beautiful view for the adjoining pitches. In terms of pitches, there is a choice between shade and sun. Would you like to go for a higher pitch or would you like to camp a bit closer to the swimming pool and restaurant?

Nice pool

At the reception is the heated swimming pool. It's not very big, but just a nice bath to cool down for a while. Sun worshippers take a seat on one of the comfortable sun beds.

If you like to swim in natural water, head for the Gorges de L'Ouvèze (just above Buis-les-Barronies) about a twenty minute drive from the campsite. There flows a beautiful river for swimming and fishing. Also fun with children, because they can romp around and build dams.

Cosy terrace

For a bite to eat you can join the nice restaurant on the campsite. In high season they serve pizzas and other simple but tasty dishes. The cosy covered patio is a lively and popular place for a drink throughout the day.

Liked - The facilities were very convenient, the service of the owners was beautiful and kind, it had lots of activities although it was a small camping, modern and clean bathrooms. Located in a beautiful location with beautiful scenery around.
Disliked - Unfortunately our pitch had no trees around so during the hot days of August it was not comfortable.

Liked - We have been staying at Camping L’Ayguette for many years. The location is superb for peace and quiet, walking, cycling, good food and wine and it is only a few minutes from so many other wonderful places. We were greeted by the new owner Renault who had only taken over a few days earlier. A very warm welcome and a lovely smile that gives us confidence that Camping L’Ayguette will be our favourite place in France for our holidays in May and September each year.
