Camping Le Viaduc is located in a quiet spot on the banks of the river Doux, in the north of the Ardèche. On this small campsite in the heart of nature, you'll camp on a shady pitch on the banks of the Doux or in a special rental accommodation such as a tree house or yurt. Here you'll experience the tranquillity of the hilly Ardèche and the conviviality of a small-scale campsite.

Informal and warm

25 kilometres after entering the Ardèche, deep in the rugged nature, you reach the charming campsite. It is enclosed by the meandering river Doux. In a small stone building you'll find the reception. The warm welcome of the owners sets the tone for the informal atmosphere on the campsite.

Special accommodations

For a special camping night, you can choose from a selection of special rental accommodations. For example, camp in a Coco-sweet tent, wigwam, yurt, tree house or wine barrel. All these accommodations, situated between the trees, are neat and tidy and give you that cosy camping feeling. However, this feeling can also be found on the beautiful lawns. There you will find spacious touring pitches on a very well-tended grass surface.

Charming restaurant

The natural stone building at the front of the site is characteristic of the charming character of the campsite. On the covered terrace you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. For a fair price you can taste homemade dishes in this charming little restaurant, with a nice ice cream for dessert. There is a children's menu for small campers.

Liked - 'zencamping' waar je tot rust kunt komen, vriendelijke eigenaren die ook voor een (h)eerlijk diner kunnen zorgen.
Disliked - Ontbreken van zittingen op de toiletten.

Liked - Last minute beslist om toch niet in één ruk naar het zuiden te rijden. We verbleven 3 nachten in de tipi lodge en het was een fantastische start van onze reis! Zeer rustig, lekker eten ter plaatse, schitterende wandelingen gemaakt en uitermate vriendelijke eigenaars. We komen hier zeker nog eens terug. Het is ons zodanig bevallen dat ik voor de eerste keer in mijn leven de moeite doe om een review te schrijven! ?? Aanrader!

Het uitzicht op de kale berg blijft mooi

Disliked - De camping wordt volgepropt, meer kampeerders dan het aantal plaatsen.
Lang wachten op de douche en bidden voor waterdruk.

Liked - De rust in de omgeving en de natuur.
Disliked - In deze tijd lijkt mij een toilet met toiletpapier meer dan logisch. Persoonlijk zou ik een zwembad fijn vinden.
Honden op de camping prima maar de meeste mensen ruimden de uitwerpselen van de honden niet op. Zo lag er een hoop naast onze tent.

Liked - We verbleven in de betaalbare blokhut met onze zoons van 5 & 2 jaar oud. De camping is overzichtelijk, goede zwemplek, geen grote weg in de buurt. Restaurantje is gezellig met mooi uitzicht en prima eten. Fijne speeltuin met trampoline, waar de kinderen zelfstandig op avontuur konden en andere kinderen konden ontmoet. Vriendelijke eigenaren.
Disliked - Het sanitair zonder toiletbril en vrij open en bloot (weinig privacy). Hierin zoeken wij meer comfort/luxe op hedendaagse campings.

Liked - fijne, grote plek. rustige camping, veel groen. Fijn aan een rivier. mooie omgeving. Fijn wat te kunnen eten op de camping. Vriendelijke receptie!
Disliked - veel jongere kinderen op de camping en weinig tieners dus voor wat oudere kinderen wat minder uitdaging. Maar dat vonden wij geen probleem. Jammer dat rivier niet wat dieper is zodat je meer kunt zwemmen maar daar kan de camping niets in betekenen.

Travelling party: Seniors

Liked - De beheerders Stéphanie en Olivier doen er alles aan om je verblijf aangenaam te maken. Erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Olivier zie je de hele dag bezig op de camping, en 'savonds is hij ook nog de kok die heerlijke maaltijden verzorgt. Stéphanie is altijd vrolijk.
Dank je wel allebei dat we ons zo op ons gemak hebben gevoeld.
