Camping Le Ventadour is a hospitable family campsite in the heart of the Ardèche. The campsite is situated along the river with the same name, in which you can swim. The campsite is a relaxing and friendly place for nature lovers. Le Ventadour is centrally situated in the regional Monts d’Ardèche Nature Park. In this country of volcanic mountain tops, waterfalls and wild churning rivers, the campsite is a peaceful oasis for campers.

Easily accessible

Barbara, Jean Pierre Leynaud and their two twins will extend you a warm welcome to their family camping. You can reach the campsite over easily passable roads. The camping grounds are located in pristine nature, between mountains along the Ardèche river.

A rugged landscape, a comfortable campsite

The campsite consists almost exclusively of pitches, located between trees. The site is also very accessible for larger caravans and campers; there is space for everyone. Would you rather hire accommodation? You can do that, too. There are several mobile homes among the shady trees.

Nature lovers

Nature lovers feels right at home on this campsite. However, the campsite is suitable for all: from young to old. There is an amicable atmosphere and small-scale entertainment.

Swimming fun in the river

Camping Le Ventadour does not need a swimming pool; it has its own river! The Ardèche running alongside - with waterfall to boot! - is ideal for splashing around, swimming and fishing. On top of this, it is a splendid sight. The campsite also has its own sandy beach.

Liked - De rivier, de voorzieningen voor de honden
Disliked - Het was handig als er een mogelijkheid was om een klein winkeltje te hebben met een paar dagelijkse benodigdheden. Aan de andere kant is er een supermarkt op minder dan 10 min rijden dus heel erg is het niet

Liked - Mooie omgeving. Gezellige camping. Mooie plaatsen, leuke activiteiten en faciliteiten. Super leuk voor de kinderen.
Disliked - Ook boven 150 centimeter mag schoongemaakt worden.
Water afwisselend ijskoud of loeiheet. Met een klein kindje van 2 is dat lastig.

Travelling party: Young couple

Liked - Het hoogseizoen was nog niet begonnen en was daardoor vrij rustig op de camping. Heerlijk. Goed weer gehad en de broodnodige verkoeling lag direct aan de camping, rivier Ardeche. Door de vele bomen op de camping is er genoeg schaduw.
Het brood dat op de camping verkocht werd, was zeer goed. Ook het eten in het restaurant was dik in orde.

Disliked - Het toiletgebouw is vrij donker, ook overdag. Er mag wel wat meer licht naar binnen vallen.
Camping ligt aan een Route National en is overdag goed te horen, maar niet echt storend.

Liked - Heerlijke kleine camping in een prachtige omgeving!
Zwemwater is heerlijk en voor jong en oud een prima afkoeling!
Disliked - Knipperende wc/douche lichten of lampen die t niet deden… heel donker om te douchen

Liked - Hele fijn, gemoedelijke camping. Vriendelijke personeel, prima sanitair, heerlijke pizza's, goed zwemwater, 2x per week een gezellige muziekavond. Verder veel te zien in de omgeving. De camping ligt prachtig.
Disliked - Het licht in het toiletgebouw zou op bewolkte dagen wat eerder aan mogen gaan. Was nu erg donker.

Disliked - Af en toe is de verkeersweg goed te horen, sanitair is bij een volle camping wat beperkt

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Liked - Fijne, kleinschalige camping. Jongeren van alle leeftijden en toch rustig, niet te groot, gezellige onderlinge sfeer, familiecamping. Sanitair is eenvoudig, maar prima en schoon. Douches lekker warm.
Super rivier om in te zwemmen, spelen, visjes vangen, etc. Kinderen hebben hier urenlang vertoeft, lekker met vrienden met luchtbedjes, banden, snorkels, etc gespeeld. Wel waterschoentjes aan, maar die heeft de Decathlon in Aubenas ook in grote getalen.
Disliked - Toiletten overdag niet verlicht, pas vanaf 20.30, waardoor het overdag te donker was, vooral bij bewolkt weer zit je bijna in het donker op wc/douche. En miste bij meerdere hokjes een haakje om je tas/kleding op te hangen. Beide makkelijk op te lossen, lijkt mij :)
