Camping Le Ventadour is a hospitable family campsite in the heart of the Ardèche. The campsite is situated along the river with the same name, in which you can swim. The campsite is a relaxing and friendly place for nature lovers. Le Ventadour is centrally situated in the regional Monts d’Ardèche Nature Park. In this country of volcanic mountain tops, waterfalls and wild churning rivers, the campsite is a peaceful oasis for campers.

Easily accessible

Barbara, Jean Pierre Leynaud and their two twins will extend you a warm welcome to their family camping. You can reach the campsite over easily passable roads. The camping grounds are located in pristine nature, between mountains along the Ardèche river.

A rugged landscape, a comfortable campsite

The campsite consists almost exclusively of pitches, located between trees. The site is also very accessible for larger caravans and campers; there is space for everyone. Would you rather hire accommodation? You can do that, too. There are several mobile homes among the shady trees.

Nature lovers

Nature lovers feels right at home on this campsite. However, the campsite is suitable for all: from young to old. There is an amicable atmosphere and small-scale entertainment.

Swimming fun in the river

Camping Le Ventadour does not need a swimming pool; it has its own river! The Ardèche running alongside - with waterfall to boot! - is ideal for splashing around, swimming and fishing. On top of this, it is a splendid sight. The campsite also has its own sandy beach.

Liked - Heerlijk aan de rivier, geen zwembad nodig en prachtige omgeving. Lekker afkoelen en wat dobberen terwijl de visjes onder je door zwemmen en de kinderen vd waterval springen. Fijne groene omgeving. Veel schaduw-fijn! De kinderen hebben zich uitstekend vermaakt. Eerste weken waren lekker rustig, daarna werd het drukker op de camping. Dat was voor de oudste fijn ivm contact leeftijdsgenootjes. In de omgeving genoeg te doen.
Disliked - Niks. Vlak aan een drukke weg. Wel hoorbaar, maar geen last van gehad.

Liked - Rustige kindvriendelijke (zowel voor de jongsten als de tieners/pubers) met heerlijk water van de rivier met watervalletjes op Prive strandje. Leuk kasteel aan de overkant van de weg om heen te “klimmen” of te wandelen via de weg.
Disliked - Geen items te bedenken gerelateerd aan de Ventadour.

Liked - Fijne, kleinschalige camping. Jongeren van alle leeftijden en toch rustig, niet te groot, gezellige onderlinge sfeer, familiecamping. Sanitair is eenvoudig, maar prima en schoon. Douches lekker warm.
Super rivier om in te zwemmen, spelen, visjes vangen, etc. Kinderen hebben hier urenlang vertoeft, lekker met vrienden met luchtbedjes, banden, snorkels, etc gespeeld. Wel waterschoentjes aan, maar die heeft de Decathlon in Aubenas ook in grote getalen.
Disliked - Toiletten overdag niet verlicht, pas vanaf 20.30, waardoor het overdag te donker was, vooral bij bewolkt weer zit je bijna in het donker op wc/douche. En miste bij meerdere hokjes een haakje om je tas/kleding op te hangen. Beide makkelijk op te lossen, lijkt mij :)

Liked - Ondanks de corona een fijne vakantie gehad op camping la Ventadour. De kinderen hebben bijna de hele vakantie vriendjes gehad en 's avonds werd er jachtseizoen over de hele camping gedaan door jongens en meisjes samen. Verder hele lekkere pizza's en een heel vriendelijke eigenares, wat ook geldt voor de rest van de mensen die er werken. Geweldige dam in de rivier waardoor er een groot dieper gedeelte is waar je leuk kunt zwemmen of dobberen. Ook kun je mooi van de dam springen, wat de jongens vaak hebben gedaan.

Liked - Geweldige familiecamping in het groen. De ligging aan de Ardèche is heerlijk; door een Dam is er een zwemmeertje ontstaan. De kinderen hebben geen zwembad gemist door de natuurlijk ontstane waterbaan en het springen vanaf de Dam. De omgeving is prachtig, veel mooie plekken te bezoeken.

Liked - Heerlijke plek aan rivier met prachtig uitzicht. Goed restaurant! Vriendelijk personeel. Relaxed!
Disliked - Toiletten overdag niet verlicht waardoor het te donker was. Geen toiletpapier.

Liked - - heerlijk fris water in de Ardèche, waar dammen gebouwd kunnen worden, van de rots gesprongen kan worden of gewoon lekker dobberen op je luchtbed
- wij hadden een mooie plek onder de bomen aan het water
- er waren genoeg leeftijdsgenoten voor onze tieners
Disliked - - kleine afwastplekken en het afwaswater was niet heel warm
- sanitairgebouw is wat verouderd
