Just outside La Motte-Chalancon, a lovely village in a quiet part of Provence, is Camping L'Ondine de Provence. You camp here in a valley and right next to the river Oule. This is a beautiful area to explore on foot or by bike. The well-maintained family campsite has plenty to offer too. You will find a nice swimming pool, a good restaurant and a varied programme of activities.

Authentic campsite with new toilet facilities

As a camper, you choose your own pitch. Do you like a spot in the sun or somewhere shadier? And do you like to have your own electricity or are you fine without it? Let them know and the campsite will arrange it. There are also two toilet and shower blocks on the site, which are open all season. One of these was newly installed in 2023. A third toilet block also opens in high season. Rather have your own kitchen and bathroom? Book a stay in a modern safari tent, chalet or mobile home.

What is there to do on this campsite?

This is a campsite where you can really retreat from the hustle and bustle. Still feel like some activity? Take a dip in the large outdoor pool or from the little beach in the Oule. There is also regular entertainment. Join an aquagym session or an African dance class, and enjoy live music, karaoke or a magic show in the evening. You can get something tasty at the good La Piboure restaurant or at the ice cream van. You can also borrow free board games, books and toys from the reception.

Liked - It was very clean and well organized. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful, especially when our car battery died. Our kids loved the pool and we had a great shady site.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Liked - Area, swimming pool, river, playground for children, the bar, the beer at the bar, village near by with a nice market on Mondays. A lot of guests come here more often which creates a nice atmosphere.
Disliked - Wasps were annoying and a facility to shower with a baby was missing (somewhere to place your baby after showering)
