In the east of France, just a little way from the Italian and Swiss borders, and between the towns of Chambéry and Lyon, you'll find the friendly Le Coin Tranquille campsite. The peaks of the Alps offer a stunning backdrop for campers. Here, in the heart of the Isère region, nature plays a leading role.

Flowerbeds with colourful flowers
Le Coin Tranquille campsite appears spacious, well cared for, and friendly. The flowerbeds with colourful flowers lend a little something to the atmosphere. The flat, bucolic grounds are landscaped with plenty of greenery. There is a panoramic view of the mountainous surroundings from several of the camping pitches. In the centre of the campsite, you'll find the reception, the restaurant - which has a terrace - and the swimming pool. The road through the campsite separates the terrace from the rectangular heated swimming pool. At busier times, the swimming pool is the liveliest place at the campsite. Small children can splatter around in the toddler pool. If you'd like to sunbathe after your swim, there are sunbeds to use.
Chef's theme evening
In the peak season, the chef organises theme evenings. Guests can sign up for a delicious barbecue, or a rich paella. On other days, there's an extensive menu with all sorts of local produce that's worth trying. The spacious restaurant is well-regarded due to its high quality, reasonable prices, and the atmospheric design with wooden ceilings.
Bouncy Castle
Le Coin Tranquille campsite is one of the most child-friendly campsites, according to the organisation Kids Campings (Campsites for Kids). This is why many of the campers who stay here in the summer are families with young children, including many Dutch families.
