In southeast France, in the Écrins massif, lies the cosy family camping site of Camping Au Valbonheur. You camp here in a very natural environment, so it almost feels like you are camping in the wild. With swimming lake and private beach and sport opportunities. The camping is situated at the foot of the French Alps. From the highway it is approximately 45 minutes' drive through a green and mountainous region. You will be welcomed with a smile by the owners and employees. The proprietor has owned this camping site since 2015 and does his utmost to make this a real quality camping site.

Special camping between the trees

You will find spacious pitches for your caravan, camper or tent amidst trees, brooks and greenery. The generous pitches ensure a peaceful holiday. In addition, Camping Au Valbonheur offers very special accommodation to stay in. For instance, tepee tents, huts on stilts and igloo huts. You can also spend the night in a chalet or mobile home for a slightly more luxurious feel. This camping site is mainly frequented by families with young children.

Own beach

Camping Au Valbonheur is situated alongside a small lake with private beach with loungers for camping guests. This lake is suitable for swimming, kayaking and canoeing. On the beach you can have a game of volleyball. Children will love the soccer field and the inflatable bouncers.

Travelling party: Seniors

voor het vierde jaar op rij weer hier aanbeland. Het is een heerlijke camping voor ons die van bergwandelingen houden. De camping is ruim opgezet en doet heel gezellig aan, alle leeftijden zijn aanwezig. De crew is zeer vriendelijk en alles is keurig verzorgd. Een dikke aanrader.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Mooie camping, ruime stgandplaatsen in een prachtig gebied. Bij de receptie spreken ze 6!! talen, (ook Nederlands).
De camping is nog niet zo lang in handen van de huidige eigenaar, ze doen er alles aan om de camping te verbeteren. Dit lijkt de goede kant op te gaan. Douches zijn er genoeg en zijn ook erg schoon! de toiletten zijn nog wel een puntje van aandacht, zowel qua aantal alswel qua reinheid.( zelf toiletpapier meenemen :-( ) Niet dat het er een dikke bende is maar, als het aantal toiletten niet overdadig is, dan worden deze zeer intensief gebruikt en valt het niet mee om de zaak lekker fris te houden. Voor de kinderen die willen is er een animatie team. (ook Nederlands talig) onze kinderen hebben hier geen gebruik van gemaakt dus hierover van ons geen oordeel. 's Ochtends lekkere broodjes van de bakker. (aanwezig op de camping van 08.00 tot 09.00 uur) bestellen kan en mag, maar ook als je niet besteld hebt is er brood. (je hebt alleen kans dat het lekkerste weg is). Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst bij de receptie, hier kun je ook het broodnodige halen om te eten. De winkel ligt boven aan in het dorp. (750 mtr) Camping ziet er leuk en fris uit, er stroomt een beekje door de camping (leuk voor de kinderen), het meer is niet groot, maar groot genoeg om in te zwemmen e.d. Je kunt er ook op kanoen/kayakken. Voor de wandelaar en de fietsers onder ons is dit echt een fantastisch gebied!! Als je wandelt, loop je zo tussen de kuddes met koeien door. Ga je fietsen dan zijn er in de directe omgeving steile en minder steile alpencols te bedwingen. Alpe 'd Hues op 35 km, col de parquetou op 3 km, Col 'd Ornon op 10 km. Kortom GENOEG om je te vermaken. Zeker een aanrader, wij komen volgend jaar zeker weer!!

zeer mooie camping en een nog mooiere omgeving. De verhuuraccomodaties zijn zeer goed en de kampeerplekken zijn zeer groot. Een goede mix tussen nederlanders en fransen.

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Hoewel het meer heerlijk is werd een zwembad door de pubers wel gemist. Mountainbiken was daarentegen weer geweldig met veel mooie routes direct (of vlak-) bij de camping. Ook hardlopen in deze schitterende omgeving gaat goed en je kunt zowel de bergen in als vlak langs de rivier lopen.
Het entertainment was vooral gericht op jonge kinderen en kwam biet veel verder dan knutselen en nog eens een spel. Voor onze pubers was er niets.
Het restaurant aan het meer serveert lekker eten.
