Camping Le Curtelet Onlycamp is in a charming spot located on the peaceful banks of Lake Aiguebelette, France's warmest lake. The campsite's setting is genuinely unique: by the lake with views of the green mountains, where you can enjoy delicious gastronomy and regional wines from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

Cosy campsite by the lake

On arrival, you are warmly welcomed by the friendly owners, who are ready to make sure you have an unforgettable stay. The campsite extends along the lake and is not very large, giving it a cosy feel. Almost all pitches benefit from the shade of the trees. There is no organised entertainment at Le Curtelet Onlycamp.

Water sports and relaxation

The campsite appeals to a varied audience, from families who enjoy the water to couples who appreciate the peace and space of the low season. For relaxation and fun, you can swim in the lake or get active on a canoeing, kayaking or standup paddleboarding trip. The village of Lépin-le-Lac is only 800 metres away. There, you will find shops for your daily groceries. The snack bar at the campsite provides you with simple meals and there is a bakery service.

Walking, tasting and exploring

You can go on wonderful walks in the mountains and cycle through the stunning countryside. After a relaxing trip, you can enjoy the delicious local cuisine in the restaurants and cafés in the surrounding area. Explore the local market in nearby towns and villages such as Chambéry (23 km) and Aix-les-Bains (29 km). There, you can sample local delicacies, cheese, wine and other artisan products.

Liked - The camping is situated along the lake. Swimming, cycling and hiking is all possible starting direct from the camping.
All day and night there is no amplified noise like music or the like. It is a relaxing place with only the noise of some talking people and the regular rumour of the children. A very pleasant atmosphere.
In general a relaxing campsite with excellent surroundings for swimming, hiking and cycling.
What will the new owner do with the campsite over the coming years? It might be wise to write something on the website about this.
Disliked - The new owner does not take time to contact to guests. It is wise to walk around and talk with the guests.

Liked - Enough shadow, clean and enough sanitair, perfect lake for swimming and boating, different nationalities, generally quiet guests, all ages, during our stay.

Liked - The campsite is great, beautiful and peaceful... Great camping places
Disliked - We actually disliked nothing..but maybe there can be a little more attention to the stock of toilet paper and soap...or give the information to bring it ourselves...there were several nights without toiletpaper and if you do not know to bring it yourself, it can be 'difficult' ????
But again... really had a good time!

Liked - This is a relatively small campsite, but you can buy fresh baguette every morning; there is a shop in the village nearby which you can reach within 15 minutes by walking, where you can buy most necessities. The lake is just awesome, and there are also nice cities like Annecy nearby which are great places to visit. Next time I would like to take my bicycles with me, which just didn't fit. Surely will return

Liked - It was only our second time here and we booked a pitch close to the lake. It is just a stunning destination by the beautiful lake.
