Stopped off here for the night, nice clean site with spacious pitches, fancy looking restaurant in site which we didn't use but looked nice, very helpful staff, local beach was a short walk which is dog friendly, no shop in nearest town, would recommend.
This campsite was a terrible disappointment. I chose it because it said that the grocery, restaurant and snack bar would be open. But they were all closed. It was a 2km uphill walk to get fresh bread, so I went without. The staff refused to take orders for bread, even though other sites do. The beach is 15 mins walk away - and it is beautiful if you're not put off by the nuclear power station at the far end. There are no cliff top walks unless you want to go to see the entrance of the nuclear plant. The campsite provides everyone with instructions of what to do in case of a nuclear incident and the sirens are tested regularly.
The pitches with a breeze and a view are very sloping and the others seem quite cramped and have a long walk to the facilities
Excellent site. Good showers and facilities - very clean. Walking distance of small village with vet, boulangerie, other small shops and near a vast sandy beach. Helpful staff in every way including booking vet appointment for dog in village. Excellent restaurant on site.
We stayed here for 2 nights on 7th and 8th March 2013. Fantastic site, which opened on 1st March. Lovely clean beach. Well maintained site, excellent childrens facilities. Well maintained everywhere, wouldn't hesitate to recommend it, EXCEPT that when we stayed the toilet and showers had not been cleaned since the end of the previous season. Really dirty. New owners took our comments on board. This could be a great stopover site in the low season, what a shame that the dirty facilities let it down.
