Weekend stay myself and wife. Lovely surroundings with a beautiful view of the lake.Large pitch but low ampage on the electric hook up, but staff lent us a low wattage kettle.Pub within 300m. Lovely stay but should have brought canoes to avail of the lake

Clean site with friendly welcome, located right on the shore of Lough Ree. Camping facilities were great using electric points. Shaded and unshaded pitches. Showers were 1 euro for 7 mins, only 4 showers onsite, but never waited more than a few minutes Toilet facilities clean, and the usual area to clean dishes. No plugs in sinks so wasting water. Vending machines onsite and a pub very close by for food, beer, and sports TV. Didn\'t appear to have curfew for noise, but wasn\'t required during my stay. Check prices before visit, if you can as there maybe additional charges for gazebo, more cars, etc... Would visit again, great site for water sports lovers and you can rent a boat nearby if required.
