Camping De la Sûre is situated in Diekirch, within walking distance of the old centre. It would be a good idea to combine an extended tour to this interesting town (with war history) with an overnight stop at Camping De la Sûre. The Sûre (or Sauer) river runs along the campsite. You can walk directly into nature from the campsite. Nature lovers can go canoeing or fishing in the area, and also go on cycling and walking trips.

Park-like campsite
You arrive at a well maintained campsite with an attractive reception/bar. You will be welcomed here by the Manager, who manages the campsite for the tourism services of Diekirch. On the way to your camping pitch the campsite offers a park-like impression. The grounds are flat and have a grass surface. Here and there are some tall trees. At the entrance (with reception, bar and playground) there is a convivial atmosphere.
Spacious and open
The spacious pitches are not demarcated, offering less privacy, but providing a sense of space. Due to the trees some of the pitches are provided with ample shade. You have a view of the river, with a large number of cyclists and hikers on the other side, especially when you stay here during the first weekend after Whitsun. This is when the two-day traditional walk 'Marche Internationale de Diekirch' (also called: Marche de l’Armée) is held.
Campsite De la Sûre is mainly frequented by families with young children. The campsite is also popular with senior campers. In peak season, swimming in the river is prohibited.
