Nommerlayen is a large campsite in the heart of Luxembourg, highly suitable for active campers, especially for families with children of all ages. There is plenty to do in terms of sport, play and fun on the water, and adults can enjoy a range of wellness facilities. The area is also highly suited for activities: visit castles and cities or hike and cycle through the surprisingly pristine nature.

Camping or renting?

Nommerlayen is a large campsite with many centrally-located amenities such as a swimming pool and catering facilities. The further you camp from this central part, the quieter the campsite gets. The camping pitches provide the necessary privacy thanks to the hedges and differences in height. The flat portions have larger pitches but less of a nice view.

There is plenty of rental accommodation on Europacamping Nommerlayen. These include luxury furnished mobile homes, cottages, chalets and hire tents, all spread out in groups over the site.

From toddler pool to Turkish steam bath

The campsite offers something for everyone: entertainment for children, a heated 50-metre bath and well-organised sport activities. In addition to the 50-metre bath, you can have fun in the water in a playful outdoor swimming pool. There is also a lovely water playground for toddlers and infants. A number of deckchairs can be found along the side. The wellness area with solarium, sauna, Turkish steam bath, whirlpool and fitness equipment is very special.

A nice glass of wine on the terrace

There is a small supermarket on the campsite in which you can buy essentials. Fresh bread is available in the mornings, although reservation is recommended. It is also advisable to make a reservation for the popular restaurant. The fantastic wine menu is especially delightful. You can also sit at the bar or on the large, cosy terrace.

Travelling party: Family with children <4 years

Veel Duitse jeugd, veel muziek de hele dag door. Douches zijn niet betalend maar werken met een puntensysteem op een kaart waardoor je om de dag naar de receptie moet lopen om nieuwe punten te vragen. Onze baby heeft hier niet kunnen slapen, nooit meer wat ons betreft. Voor groepen vrienden is het ideaal.

prachtige camping. veel te doen voor de kinderen. ook een prima bus verbinding naar het treinstation. om vanuit daar naar luxemburg stad te kunnen. wij komen zeker weer een keer terug.

Een hele leuke tijd gehad op deze camping. Voor de kinderen is er zowel binnen als buiten een leuke waterspeeltuin. Ook een zeer grote speeltuin aanwezig en een springkussen. Op de eerste plaatsen is ook een klein speeltoestel per rij aanwezig voor kleine kinderen.
Sanitair is schoon, maar hoofdgebouw is wel wat verouderd. Eten bij het restaurant is prima, maar in verhouding wel aan de dure kant.

De omgeving is prachtig, dat is de reden dat we hier naar toe zijn gekomen.
Het sanitair is oud, opzich geen probleem maar zorg dan dat het schoon is.

De snackbar is behoorlijk aan de prijs, en alles is net aan gaar. Erg jammer.

Er is zoveel entertainment, dat je van gekkigheid niet weet wat je moet doen met kinderen.
Ze zeggen een gezinscamping te zijn, maar houden geen rekening met de kleinere kinderen <6 jaar
Het is elke, maar dan ook echt, elke avond een hoop kabaal.
Leuk een bandje die komt spelen, maar het is letterlijk te verstaan halverwege de camping.
Elke avond is er disco, vanaf 23.00 uur, waar toch ook wel redelijk lawaai vandaan komt.

De speel faciliteiten zijn super leuk, waaronder ook een deel overdekt.

Voor ons een camping om niet weer heen te gaan.
