Pure Camping – Happy Glamping has spaciously laid-out camping pitches, various recreational facilities, great fishing water and beautiful nature reserves in the vicinity. The campsite offers ample opportunities for both exuberant holiday fun and more restrained scenic beauty and tranquility. Using the campsite as a base, you can visit some lovely villages. You can also make endless cycling and walking trips. In other words, a real family campsite for young and old.

Natural

The campsite looks very neat, in keeping with the predominantly natural atmosphere of the surroundings. A few small elevation differences and forest ridges contribute towards the cosy ambiance. The pitches are generous, with a good deal of privacy and vegetation of grass and shrubs. The sandy terrain also prevents the build-up of mud or surface water. The pitches are equipped with water and electricity. The sanitary facilities on the camping are neat and well maintained.

Attractive swimming pool

In low season you will predominantly find the somewhat older lovers of quietude. But in busier times mainly families are staying here, which contributes to a lively ambiance. The grounds have a lot to offer for children: there is a playground, jeu de boule pitch, sports field and swimming pool with bubble baths, slides and toddler pools. In inclement weather conditions the swimming pool sides can be closed. Entertainment is provided in the holiday periods.

Environment

Outside the campsite, the countryside awaits for beautiful excursions and plenty of natural beauty. Like the Dwingelderveld, Holtingerveld, Drents-Friese-Wold, or attractions such as the Drents Museum in Assen and Wildlands in Emmen. And of course, making beautiful walking and cycling trips in this area are almost a matter of course.

Travelling party: Family with children <4 years

Fijne kindvriendelijke camping met mooie grote plaatsen. Allemaal voorzien van wateraansluiting en afvoer en stroom. Heerlijk nazomeren in Drenthe en per fiets naar leuke uitjes zoals de grote hunebedden en theetuin met grote speeltuin in Havelte en het belevingspad voor kinderen.. wij gaan terugkomen om ook het zwembad en het strand te kunnen testen.

Liked - Wij fietsen graag in Drenthe. Camping Wittelterbrug is een prima uitvalsbasis om de natuurgebieden zoals het Dwingelderveld te bezoeken met de fiets. Het is een rustige plek met een eenvoudig zwembad.
Disliked - Het management wil stoppen met ACSI. Wij raden dit ten sterkste af. Het sanitair is eenvoudig.

10 dagen op deze camping...
Lekker rustig alles goed voor elkaar....mocht iets niet goed zitten dan kwam zoef de haas in zijn golfkar!
Jongens succes een hele stap om een camping over te nemen...respect.
We komen zeker weer en ook de mensen die er nu waren.
In Friesland gaan we zeker reklame voor jullie maken.
