Camping Erve Hesselink is located between Winterswijk and the German town of Vreden, both of which are easily accessible and at a distance of approximately 3 km. The landscape is best explored by bicycle or on foot. A large number of routes start within a radius of two hundred metres from the camping site.
Once you arrive at the camping site, the idyllic farmhouse will immediately catch your eye. The camping site is named after the first occupants of the farmhouse, which was converted to a mini camping at a later stage. Anneke and Henk Beskers established the camping site years ago and they take care of their guests with much dedication and enthusiasm.
Ample privacy and panoramic views
Camping Erve Hesselink can justifiably call itself a small camping site; there are only fourteen small but well maintained pitches. They are positioned in a U-shape around the farmhouse on a lawn. It is a very well-tended camping site with spacious pitches offering panoramic views of farmland and surrounding woodlands. Some pitches are somewhat shaded by trees. Guests always have an unobstructed view of the area. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the camping site.
The three R's
Most of the guests are couples without children. They can enjoy themselves with a good read or enjoy the tranquillity on the camping site. The lack of entertainment and organised activities here is greatly appreciated. The hospitable owners even have a three-R slogan: 'Rust, Ruimte en Reinheid' (rest, roominess and cleanliness). You can do your shopping in nearby Winterswijk, which has countless opportunities.
