The family campsite De Kienehoef is located in the Bailiwick of Brabant. This lush environment boasts a natural setting and the ambience of the Brabant region. You can dive into the local history here or indulge in the delicious regional dishes at one of the many outdoor cafes. The campsite has no shortage of fun things to do. On the partially car-free camping fields, there are different kinds of playground equipment for the children. The campsite also boasts an open-air swimming pool, its own recreational pond, various sports fields and an activities team.

Car-free camping fields

Most of the touring pitches at De Kienehoef are located at the back on the partially car-free camping fields. These fields are beautifully arranged, each with playground equipment as the centrepiece of the field. There are also comfort fields. The camping fields at the back of the site have an additional sanitary facility.

Swimming pool and recreational pond

There is plenty to do for any guest at the campsite De Kienehoef. As soon as you check-in, you can head straight to the terrace of De Taveerne and enjoy a drink, ice cream or a snack from the small menu. It's also a great spot to keep an eye on the kids while they play in the open-air pool or children's pool, which are located just a bit farther along. If that's not enough aquatic fun for you, there is a recreational pond at the back of the campsite.

Daily necessities

You can pick up some fresh rolls on the campsite every morning. You can buy all the other little things you need in Sint-Oedenrode, which is located one kilometre from the campsite. It has several supermarkets.

Liked - Gemoedelijk, gelukkig mooi weer gehad! Rustige camping voor jong en oud!
Disliked - Eén heel groot nadeel vonden wij, is dat de horecagelegenheid door de week buiten de schoolvakanties (in de regio) volledig gesloten is, hier moeten jullie echt wat aan gaan doen, als je kijkt hoeveel gasten nog op jullie camping aanwezig waren! En dit vonden meer gasten. en wij hier ook met jullie over gesproken.

Disliked - Het toiletgebouw is niet meer van deze tijd
Het stikt er van de rioolvliegjes
En er mag wel een nieuw modern gebouw voor komen.
Senioren willen ook door de weeks een frietje kunnen halen.

Travelling party: Seniors

Liked - Wij hebben ons vergist in het grote aantal kinderen en het daarbij behorende geluidsniveau. Voor de kinderen is het een geweldige plek met een heerlijk zwembad en leuk meertje.
Wij hebben wel heel erg van de prachtige omgeving genoten.
Disliked - Omdat de toegang tot het sanitair gebouw (midden op de camping) maar gedeeltelijk via een betegeld pad bereikbaar was, vond ik eigenlijk de gehele dag door dat de vloer behoorlijk vuil was, hetgeen bewerkstelligd dat de gasten ook niet zo net kijken. Mijn advies: betegel het gehele voorstuk naar het gebouw toe, zal allicht een schoner gebouw geven.

Liked - Leuke en gezellige mensen op het veldje nette camping
Disliked - Onderhoud van algemene camping faciliteiten dit is beetje achter ontschoten.
Animatie voor de kinderen was er niet. Dus geen activiteiten op de camping. Maar wel voor een hoogseizoen prijs de camping prijs berekend kreeg ook geen korting met je asci pas ivm omdat het hoogseizoen was!!

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Liked - Fijn verblijf met kleinkinderen en hond. Prima plaats. Zwembad ok. Sanitair 2x per dag schoongemaakt. Jeugd loopt van zwembad door zand en dan toiletruimte in dus modderige vloeren. Niet te voorkomen. Wij hadden een prima verblijf op beschaduwd veld en goed weer.
Disliked - Zwembad na 21.00 afsluiten. Verder geen commentaar.

Liked - Het park ziet er over het algemeen netjes uit met mooie grote kampeerplaatsen.
Disliked - Het sanitair was niet altijd schoon en de douches vind ik echt een minpunt dat je de temperatuur niet zelf kunt bepalen. Het water was soms zo heet dat je er niet onder kon staan en met temperaturen van rond de 30 graden is wat fris douchen wel zo fijn.

Liked - We hebben het erg leuk gehad op camping Kienehoef. Gezellige sfeer, schone toiletgebouwen, strandje is echt een super pluspunt! Wat heerlijk is dat, zo'n strand alleen voor de campinggasten, wat een luxe!
