Camping O Moinho is a small campsite near the town of Castanheira de Pêra, in the district of Leiria. The campsite is situated directly on the beautiful river Pêra, at the foot of the Serra de Lousã mountain range. You can swim in a large outdoor pool close to the campsite. This is an ideal campsite for those looking for peace and quiet and nature lovers.

Choose your own pitch

At Camping O Moinho you decide where you want to stand. No pitches are allocated. The pitches are quite spacious, shaded and naturally separated from each other by the surrounding nature. Chalets, caravans and mobile homes are also available for rent.

Playing in the river

The river that runs alongside the campsite is a great place to cool off. The river is 30 centimetres deep, ideal for children to play in (under parental supervision). Do you prefer swimming in a pool? Then the large swimming paradise Praia das Rocas is nearby. This wave pool, the largest in Portugal, is only three kilometres from the campsite.

Barbecue facilities

At the campsite you will find a amall bar with a terrace at reception. There are also four large barbecues for campers to use. It is also convenient that a baker comes to the campsite every morning in July and August. Close to the campsite, next to the river, is a restaurant where snacks and menus are available.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Nice camping on a fantastic location in middle of nature.
Nice relaxing kids to swimmingpool, nice bar with drinks and icecream.
Mobilehomes are old but underpriced. There is also new bungalows. The new bbqs with sitting area are free of use.

Gastvrije camping op loopafstand van zwembad. We verbleven met een tent en 3 kinderen. 2 weken gebleven. Helemaal top.
