Only stayed one night but found the site very good. Very reasonable price water on every pitch electric include in the price. Will definitely use again.
Usefully placed just off the autoroute however the \"welcome\" was nonexistent. Trying to pay by card was declined. The facilities were barely ok - dated and due for a real clean. The surroundings are very nice indeed and there was no real noise from the autoroute. We\'d use it again as an overnighter but only because there is nothing else in the area.
It is a one night stop place really. The shanty town of static installations seems to fund the local team who were seen baiting traps for wildlife on site at 2330 on the same day that the ACSI inspectors were encamped opposite me!!!
The toilets are superficially clean but feaces in one corner of a shower certainly put me off the place. I will never return. Yuk!
Really nice location - not much info from staff and pitches allocated despite only a few over nighters staying - assume you could change if desired but no info given?
As early in season nothing open but being adjacent to National park walking good. Dog owners will need to be vigilant from March onwards any the wooded cover is pine and there are very many nests of Processionary caterpillars to be seen
Tucked out the way a little. Easy access, large pitches, bit pricey I thought for out of season but excellent free wifi all over the site. Oct practically empty, no pool, no shop or restaurant. Nothing in the local town but La Carolina worth a visit just down the road. Ideally need a car to see what sites there are locally.
A lovely situation and nicely laid out with plenty of trees for shade in the hotter months. The site warden was very friendly and although he picked the site for us he said we could change it if we wished. Free wifi too.
Definitely not a client oriented campsite. You don’t get to choose your camping pitch, it is assigned to you (even with a 80% of free places). As in Spain everybody as dinner late in the evening, so we must do so (we enter in the restaurant at 8H20 p.m and we were asked to come later to have our dinner). You pay 10€ for 2 tiny boar shops and if you want to get anything to eat or drink you better be prepared to wait a lot or go yourself to the balcony as the waiters are faster to take things out from your table.
The “receptionist” didn’t tell us at the check in that all town will be in a huge party until 06h30 in the morning. If we had this information we would have moved to another camping. We weren’t able to get just 1 hour sleep.
The swimming pool is fine.
This site was not in the 2013 book. Camp said it was ACSI's error. Strange Low Season
dates. The site is neglected, dreary, and uninviting. Cannot understand why it is rated 1 Category.
After riding up from Portugal & through soaring heat, this site was a pleasure to sore eyes on arrival. Price was good for what you got although the ground is not very tent peg friendly - very stoney. Toilet/shower facilities were clean and good although the evening shower was cold, whereas in the morning was lovely and hot. Not sure if this was due to solar powered (No sun at night) or something else but both showers were refreshing. Laundry room could do with more than one washing machine. Restaurant food was excellant and waiter a pleasure to be served by. Come bedtime, it was so peaceful you could hear a pin drop. Morning was greeted with an abundance of brightly coloured birds coming in for what you had to offer them. I could have stayed here for a few more days if we wasn't on a schedule & a very biker friendly site with the amount of other bikers showing up later than ourselves. Highly recommended campsite.
