The Playa Arenillas campsite is half an hour's drive from the beautiful city of Bilbao. In total, this campsite has 120 pitches and some rental options: two mobile homes and six tents. When the tide is low, a sandy beach appears next to the campsite. A little further is another sandy beach. There are various beautiful cycling and walking routes around the campsite. The children will also enjoy themselves on the large playground. In the morning you can go to the campsite for fresh bread and in the evening the paella is recommended in the campsite restaurant.

Accommodation options

The flat terrain of the campsite is subdivided into different pitches. Regular guests are generally more at the back and tourist pitches are at the front of the campsite. The site has large plots with space for 120 pitches. The sanitation is neatly arranged by the campsite staff. There are also some rental options. The campsite has a total of two mobile homes, with two rooms and a kitchenette. And the campsite also has six tents available.

Beaches

Right next to the campsite, at the foot of a high mountain, a sandy beach appears at low tide. A normal sandy beach is about one kilometre away. At high tide this is the ideal terrain for surfers. Surfboards can be rented at the campsite for a fun day.

Entertainment

Children will have fun at the campsite's large playground. They can clamber in the play equipment or play a game of table tennis. There are also various walking and cycling routes around the campsite. These routes are of medium difficulty and ideal for exploring the neighbourhood.

Travelling party: Couple

Handy for a one night stopover for Santander ferry. Pitches are very close together and the site was busy. Facilities are good, on site restaurant and shop, pleasant staff. Pretty setting. Steep downwards slope on entry so take care. Exit is easier.

Stayed for one night and got to say it’s a lovely site.
Staff are friendly and very pleasant to deal with.
Restaurant service was good and the food was good quality and a fair price.
Hopefully we will be back again.
