This charming campsite is located in the spectacular surroundings of northern Spain, on the banks of the Asón River in Cantabria. De Ramales Campsite offers a perfect location for nature lovers who enjoy outdoor activities. You will find these in abundance here. Numerous deep caves and abundant animal life are among this mountainous region's many remarkable features. Connect with the magic of nature, surrounded by the impressive foothills of the Pyrenees. This is a nice place to relax, get out and enjoy the Basque hospitality.

A very nice rural campsite run by a very gentle man. Ignore the earlier review that talks about steep access and tight pitches, the entrance is a little elevated but we did it with a 8m motorhome. pitches are small but not impossible and worth the effort. Popular with larger Motorhomes returning on the Bilbao/Santander ferries. Hot showers and a lovely area; we will return. After crossing the bridge turn left and follow road for 0.75km do not go straight ahead past the cheese factory!
