Camping El Berguedà is in the Catalonia hinterland, bordering the Cadí-Moixeró nature park. It is a small-scale campsite amid the stunning countryside, making it ideal for nature lovers and active campers. You can go on lovely walks from the campsite. The campsite has all the amenities you need as a camper. A bar, swimming pool and sporting options.

Camping with river views

At Camping El Berguedà, you can enjoy a holiday with your own camping equipment or stay in one of the characteristic wooden log cabins. The campsite is in natural green surroundings with many trees. A small river flows at the rear of the campsite. Most of the pitches have a view of the water. A walking route also starts from the campsite, which runs past the river.

Drinks at the campsite

There is a swimming pool that campsite guests can use during the summer months. It's ideal for cooling down on days when the Spanish sun is at its best. Furthermore, there is a bar where you can order snack platters as well as drinks. If you'd prefer to make your own snack platter, the small campsite shop has the basic necessities and a bread service.

Sports at the campsite

Campsite guests can have fun playing sports on the multisport field. There is also a place for recreation on rainy days. The indoor space has tables and chairs so you can play board games. There is also a table football table and billiards table to challenge your (camping) friends to a game.

Travelling party: Seniors

Liked - The location is very scenic close to a spectacular cliff face on one side and across the valley to distant peaks. We were made to feel welcome by the owners who lived on site. The toilet/washing blocks were nice and clean. It was easy to order bread for the next day and the bar shop stocked essential items.
At our request, the owner suggested an excellent walk straight from the campsite up the river valley, then along the top rim of the cliffs before descending through woodland. He furnished us with a map indicating clearly the route.

Liked - We were able to choose our pitch, the pitches were good sizes, the camp was quiet with clean facilities. We would return to this camp if walking in the area again. It was possible to order bread and pastries each day and this was a good service. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked - The family were very accommodating and there is very little that could have improved, but if the bar and shop had stayed open until 9pm this would have been very helpful. This would not stop us from returning to this gem!
