The beautifully situated terraced campsite with its many trees is surrounded by beautiful countryside. The mountainous region of L'Alta Garottxa is a paradise for nature lovers and active campers.

La Garrotxa region is located in the north-east of Catalonia. Camping La Soleia d'Oix is situated next to the village of Oix and is in a quiet location. There are many walking paths close to the campsite, but interesting sights are also within easy reach of this charming mountain campsite.

Camping in the mountains

On the way to the campsite, you will already experience the vast landscapes and the mountain peaks in the background. The campsite is located on a slight slope and is reached via an easily passable mountain road. At the entrance, you come face to face with a large country house that has been converted into a characteristic restaurant. The owner welcomes all campers at the reception building.

Pitch under the deciduous trees

The spacious camping pitches are situated along various tree-lined streets. The majority of the pitches are about 100 m2 in size. The sanitary facilities look neat. You will meet many Spanish families here who celebrate their holidays in the mountains. The campsite also rents out chalets and bungalows and there are a number of hotel rooms.

Eating out in style

You'll want to visit the charming restaurant just for the unusual decor. The menu is diverse and includes local dishes. Breakfast is served at the bar and later in the day you can go there for a sandwich or a pizza. There are also seats under the tall trees to enjoy a drink.

"Very quiet campsite located on a no-through road. It is partly sloping and partly level, with large marked out pitches. Clean toilet facilities. With a swimming pool, playground and restaurant (with a daily menu). A perfect campsite for peace seekers and hikers."

Geweldige Spaanse camping die met je meedenkt (Spaans vertalen voor regels rondom Sadernes). Speciaal voor ons brood geregeld op hun vrije dag. Goed eten en niet duur. Schaduw en zon plekken. Goed warm douche water. GR loopt langs de camping met diverse wandel mogelijkheden.

Liked - De kampeer plekken, de ligging en het goede restaurant . Toen wij er waren was het heel rustig.
Disliked - Beperkt aanbod van de campingwinkel. Daardoor 11 km rijden voor een supermarkt.
