Great location with a lovely cycle ride into Pamplona. The facilities are all a little tired and could do with a refurbishment although they were all working so apart from old they were okay. The food at the restaurant was a little underwhelming and expensive. The swimming pool was shut despite their being a lot of Motorhomes in residence. The staff were very helpful and nice.

This site is a means of visiting Pamplona, you can cycle 20kms along a river pathway or walk 20mins along same river and then into nearest town for a bus stop. Buses only run 3 or 4 times a day but as it was hot and day before festival started we used the bus. Stayed 2nights to visit town one day.
Reception staff helpful.

The big bonus of this site is the cycle path all the way into the centre of Pamplona (Puente de Magdalena) along the river bank. It is approx a 10 km cycle each way. It is traffic free apart from a 200 m stretch immediately outside the campsite entrance, and that stretch of road is quiet.

Very convenient campsite with well spaced pitches ... I stopped en route to Valencia as I needed EHU ( temperature was reading -4C ! )
Low trees and branches could be a problem for higher units but very conveniently placed just off the main road to Pamplona with cycle path along the river into Pamplona.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Trying to pitch a tent in this camping was tricky. The earth was bone-dry, dirty. The pitch was too small and we were not able to get our compact car in it (happily a Dutch neighbour helped us park our car on their lot). The electricity here is the most expensive we have ever encountered. Top of a hill, thus windy. The sanitary block is a large chilly room with a rather dated look. Showers lacking in clothes’ hooks.
Pamplona is some 5 or 6 km drive away and definitely worth a visit. There are no other campings at reasonable distances around Pamplona, so you’re just stuck with this.

Good reception, busy site. Pitches with shade are quite small and access tricky for large units. We chose a small hedged pitch. Swimming Pool was open (June). Bread available. Bar & Restaurant on site.
I suspect best to avoid this site in high. season. Excellent cycle path 10km concrete all the way into Pamplona.
We stayed 15th to 17th June and 19th to 22nd June 2018

Although only just out of season, the site was obviously closing down and running on a thin budget. The toilet block has seen better days and certainly in need of renovation. However, due to time of year, only two toilets and two showers were open to the whole site! Weather was not great and choice of pitches limited. Thank goodness we chose the hard standing as elsewhere was muddy. Certainly dies not warrant the higher level tariff and I understand why you only stay the one night and move on!

Nice shady pitches. Toilet/ shower blocks are very dated, but clean. Plenty of hot water. Best thing about this site is its proximity to Pamplona. Cycle track into city is lovely, an easy ride.

Our ratings reflect an out of season visit with only toilet block open. Everything else closed. Toilet block was fine but NOT heated so cold in there! New hard standing area was perfect in the constant rain. 4.6 mile walk into Pamplona was easy on paved footpath the whole way, very easy for cyclists.

A large site situated by a riverside cycle/footpath on the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela. Pamplona is 10 km away along the path (cycles can be hired from the campsite). Buses run from the nearby village of Oricain (a 1-km walk), where the little restaurant has good bar meals. The campsite restaurant is closed in winter, as is the camp shop, with a few items on sale in reception.
The Reception staff on duty weekdays are helpful and English-speaking, though the weekend caretaker speaks only Spanish and is difficult to deal with.
The grass pitches are very muddy when wet but there is a small hard-standing area for motorhomes.
The WiFi works well throughout the site but is expensive at €5 per day, with no longer-term tickets available. The laundry/wash-up room has a washing machine and a drier, again at above-average price.
The toilet/shower rooms are clean but the water remained tepid throughout our stay and the building was extremely cold. A one-bar heater comes on very briefly if you walk past it, making no difference at all in the large room. The ACSI Card rate (the top price) is too much, with nothing being invested in winter facilities.
No wonder that most campers at this time of year just stay one night, passing through on their way north or south.
