The staff are fantastic. From the cleaning staff to the boss they are all great. They run a number of activities themselves such as dancing lessons, keep fit etc., and they are enthusiastic, knowledgeable and super friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Spanish lessons, yoga and Pilates are brought in, and it’s all free. The campsite also encourages campers who want to run their own classes such as knitting sewing and Tai Chi.
The campsite pitches are all flat, gravelled with water, electric hook up and drainage, and a hedgerow between each pitch providing additional privacy and security. The campsite itself is secure with reception manned twenty four hours.
The location is really exceptional, being roughly 400 meters from the beach and promenade. From there you can walk along to the fishing port and see the fresh seafood being unloaded on weekdays. Fresh seafood restaurants abound. All this in the shadow of ‘The Rock’, Peñón de Ifach, which at over 300m provides an excellent challenge for the more adventurous scrambler and climbing routes galore. Paddle boarding, sailing and other water based activities are also available at the port and a regular boat bus to and from Benidorm in high season.
Ten minutes walk from the campsite inland and you are in a different world of orange groves, hermitages and countryside, with a variety of graded walks colour coded en route. Walks are sometimes organised from the campsite with a drive out to the start point for those who have a bit more energy. Cycle routes are in abundance within fifty meters of the campsite gates.
Five minutes walk from the campsite takes you in to the old town of Calpe itself. You are met with a mixture of modern shops and traditional family run businesses like restaurants and tapas bars, alongside shoe repairs and charity shops.
Modern facilities such as medical and dental care are all within walking distance of the campsite.
So, a great site, great location and super staff. What more do you want?

We have stayed here many times, the staff are very friendly and the location is e cry for motorhome owners as both the beach and town are within 10 minutes walk.

Visited this campsite for long periods since it first opened. Getting a little tired. Shower rooms very dated
hot water and pressure intermittent in small block. New supermarket, great location to campsite.
Recycling very poor no facilities on site need to go outside to road. Hopefully new manager will get improvements to reflect the same standards of hotels in group.

Very nice campsite. Pitches are large, and well kept. They are hardstanding gravel on concrete so heavy duty pegs are needed for awnings. Electricity and water at every pitch. There were a lot of long term visitors during our stay. Toilets are exceptional.
dogs are not allowed in the bar area, not even on the outside patio because this is next to the pool area so we were not able to visit or eat there which was disappointing. Laundry facilities are good and everywhere is very clean.
Campsite is well located for an easy walk To the promenade and town. Lidl supermarket is 15 minute walk away. And a new Supermercat is opening right across the road from th site. McDonalds and KFC at the no if the road. Large market outside the back of the campsite on Saturday morning so, campers on the back are disturbed from about 6.00 am when the traders are setting up.
The only negative I would have is for such a larg site it would be useful to have an accessory shop As there are none close by. We needed to buy toilet chemicals and th staff didn\'t know where we could buy it (actually found it in a small brico store in the town)
Overall a good campsite in a good location, will definitely stay again.

Excellent, the camp is very well maintained, staff very friendly. Near to the seafront, which is delightful, and good bike lanes, with supermarket just across the road from entrance.

We have used this site many times. When we arrive it’s like coming home, the staff, from the top to the handyman are so friendly and welcoming. Certainly the best site we have ever stayed at.

Disappointing to say the least. Pitches are gravel and level but there is a five inch kerb to get up, took five blokes and a motor mover to get the caravan on the pitch. The pitch which was classed as large was the smallest pitch ever, it was made worse by the site adding on a night so the price, it included 5kwh of electric and 1 hour of wifi, wifi was good but expensive long term. The site is compact so care is needed getting around the corners. The toilets are clean but at one stage there was no hot water in the smaller block for a time. The staff are excellent and the bar was okay. Town and four supermarkets are all within easy walking distance. Expensive, very small and very little sun on the pitches due to the closeness of units.
