The Alegria del Mar campsite is located on the Costa del Azahar, the Spanish part of the Mediterranean coast that includes the provinces of Castellón and Valencia. At this coastal campsite you will camp on large, flat pitches delimited by colourful oleander hedges. Not only can you enjoy good food in the cosy restaurant; flamenco evenings and karaoke sessions are also held regularly. The beach is only two hundred metres away.
The campsite is spacious and includes large touring pitches. Especially the comfort pitches are extra roomy. The pitches have a hard gravel surface and are surrounded by green, colourful oleander hedges. There is not much shade, although there are a few (small) trees around each touring pitch. Shade tarps can keep you out of the sun. A small but fine luxury: every pitch has its own sink.
Holidays at the beach
You only have to walk two hundred metres to get to the beach. The beach here is not particularly wide and consists mainly of small pebbles. So don't forget to bring flip-flops or water shoes. Nevertheless, you can sit or lie by the Mediterranean Sea. A dip in the sea is a must when you are on holiday on the Costa del Azahar.
The heart of the campsite
The restaurant is the lively centre of the campsite. In the summer months the pavement café is filled with guests all day long. The restaurant is also the heart of the entertainment. Something is organised every day. Paella evening, flamenco shows or karaoke sessions; there is something fun for everyone.
