Endless sandy beaches, delicious food and lovely weather: that's what Camping El Naranjal has to offer. The camping site is located in a quiet part of the charming resort of Jávea (also called Xábia). There is a lovely sandy beach about 500 metres away. A lovely promenade runs along the sea with plenty of shops, restaurants and terraces.
The pitches are 60-70 m2 and are located on a grist ground along paved pathways. Awnings among the trees provide shade in the high season. In the low season these awnings are removed and you can enjoy the sun. There is little demarcation, which has the advantage that you can easily maneuver your caravan or camper. You can also hire bungalows. These vary in size but nearly all have air conditioning.
Lovely swimming pool
There is a beautiful swimming pool perfect for swimming laps. Around the pool there are loungers in both sun and shade. From the swimming pool you have a green, wide view of the surrounding hilly landscape.
Fitness room and diving school
Children can have fun in the playground with swings, a climbing gym with slide and teeter totters. There is also a small fitness room. Diving lessens are given in the swimming pool, and at the diving school on the beach. There are tennis courts and a mini golf course across from the camping site.
The camping site has a nice restaurant with a bar. Choose delicious local dishes from the extensive menu and enjoy them on the terrace of the swimming pool. There is also a choice of Spanish tapas.

What a gem, excellent staff in reception, pitches are varying sizes, we took a large pitch suitable for a caravan, awning and car. Pitches are level and gravel and all face south. Toilet block is good, lots of hot water in all areas. Easy walk to the beach and shops, supermarket is in the town and there is Aldi and Lidl a five minute or half hour walk, probably ten minutes on a bike. Corners can be tight so care is needed when getting around the site. There is a bar outside the gate which has a friendly atmosphere and has \'turns\' on regularly. Cracking site that is well worth a visit.
If you wish to be kept awake until after midnight every Friday & Saturday by partying Spaniards who have no regard for any one else on the campsite, then this is the place to visit.
There is only 1 fresh water tap on the site to fill up a motorhome and no services whatsoever on the pitches.
The showers were clean but only like warm.
This is a site best avoided, and really should not be an ACSI site.
Actually stayed on this site for a month in October and found the shower block to be in good order, cleaned daily and more if requested. The pitches are quite large and pebbled. The receptionists are available all day apart from 2 - 4pm when they lunch. Lovely unheated swimming pool but as the weather was so hot this was a pleasant relief. Very local to the beautiful beach and restaurants. Plenty of supermarkets to choose from, and the restaurants are within walking distance. The port of Javea is aprox a mile away and is well worth the visit,, also the old town of Javea with its historic buildings and eating places. There is a Market in the old town once a week.
Visited camping in September
Very poor maintance and not very clean
No toilet paper no hand dryers
Reception staff totally disinterest never looked who was coming or going
Good access to town
This conveniently situated site is let down by its poor standards and money saving applications. Ie no toilet paper supplied, no hand drying facilities. Cold water to all sinks incl. washing up sinks and hand laundry sinks. The hygiene and cleanliness of toilets and showers seem lacking when site Insufficiently occupied ie cleaned sometimes once a week.
Toilet block unheated in winter. Showers only warm, never needed to add cold water. Good electric, no meters. Good speed wifi but expensive.
WARNING if you pay by credit card you will be charged in GBPounds not EUROS. Bad exchange rate. Happened to me and also another camper this year. Did not happen last winter.
