Jávea Campsite has a beautiful location in a popular part of the Costa Blanca. For years, it's been a popular region for campers from all over Europe to spend the winter. The great location with a beautiful view to the Montgó Massif, as well as the helpful owner, ensure that everyone quickly feels at home here. The village of the same name offers sea, hills, valleys, cliffs, and a wonderful pebble beach in particular: Cala de la Barraca.
Amongst the orange trees
You reach the gate of Jávea Campsite, which is amongst the orange trees, via a long driveway. The beautiful large pool is installed on a spacious lawn, and lies towards the front of the camping grounds. In the beautifully landscaped garden and lawn, you can enjoy a view of the Montgó Massif while relaxing in a sunbed. There's a bar and a tennis court on the central square of the campsite, and the English-speaking owner is always keen to help guests.
There's a canvas stretched over most of the pitches, which offers a pleasant amount of shade all day long. There are also a few pitches intended for people staying the winter, without a 'roof'. The format of the pitches differs, and they are all set on a surface of gravel. Your neighbours will be a good distance away. The pitches are on rectangular fields that are separated from each other by narrow paths, with some trees and greenery here and there. If you prefer to spend the night in a bungalow, that's also an option. Fully-equipped rentals for 2 or 4 people are next to the camping pitches.

Firstly, why can I not put October-November when we actually stayed. Pitches small and tight, neighbours close . Dutch and Belgium sentries watching commenting on movements in the park. Previous reviews correct ‘a typical Spanish car park’ .sounds good in ‘the middle of orange groves ‘but also close to battersea dogs home. When one neighbours dog barks they all start. Reminded us of 101 dalmations. Old town and port good lots cafes restaurants etc. Quite a few returning for many years ,bit like cross between Groundhog Day film and gods waiting room .music and food Fridays nites, pool v. good, toilets ,showers ,washing facilities all good Staff helpful
Lovely site. Good facilities. Met some lovely people here, who made us very welcome. Facilities were excellent and very well kept. Nice area to go walking around. Staff very friendly and helpful.
The best Campsite we\'ve been to Very friendly staff always very helpful. The best shower and loo blocks always hot water very clean and a well run camp site. always come back for the winter
Site has become a little tired ,nowadays some staff very helpful others just going through the motions, automatically.
Nothing really special anymore ,which is a shame as it is a nice area.
Very nice site within easy walking distance of town. Pitches vary in size, be careful when towing within the site as some of the roads are narrow and corners are so tight it is impossible to turn. A number of people including ourselves got stuck.
Lovely toilets and showers. Site was full during our stay and the pitch we had was quite cramped (smallest one on site). Handy for visiting old town (Javea) and the beach (Arenal). Some noise from campsite entertainment but stops sharp at midnight.
We stopped here twice for 10 days each time, 2nd time was after heavy rains which caused flooding in other sites but not here although we had some torrential downpours there was no flooding here. Staff were very helpful and friendly as were other campers of all nationalities, great market on a Thursday uphill in the old town, take your shopping bags, no need for bikes, nice tapas bars restaurants and kicked mal so an Iceland close by, for a nice sandy beach and more touristy flavour a longer walk or cycle ride turn right along the beach road. Very popular site and fills up so perhaps phone ahead ,we headed for lidle on our 2nd time here to avoid the narrow rougher road in, then down Liverpool st .
This was one of the best all round sites we've stayed on in Spain. The welcome was excellent and staff in reception was always pleasant and helpful. The facilities are kept at a very high standard of cleanliness and there was plenty of hot water. The whole site seems to be very well maintained and looked after. This is an easy walk to port & seafront. The port area has plenty of places to eat and drink and a stony beach to swim from. There are supermarkets even closer. The old town which is well worth a visit is a short distance uphill from the campsite with plentiful bars, cafes etc. and a very good weekly market. The sandy beach is a little further away but pleasant.
This is a site we definitely plan to return to and probably for a longer stay (although we stayed there longer than any other site). Our only slight reservation was the fact that, although the pitches are marked and well enough sized there is no real privacy.
We found this campsite to be one of the best we've visited in Spain. Good sized pitches (need to just look out for the trees when turning into the side roads). Some fully serviced pitches. Showers good size and lots of hot water. Large swimming pool, tennis, and table tennis. Lots of cycling routes down caminos or along the beach front. Some great, reasonably priced restaurants in town. A cinema that shows English films (with Spanish subtitles). Staff couldn't do enough for you. Everytime we went out for the evening they ordered a taxi for us and it came within 5 minutes. We will definitely come back next year. All our neighbours were very friendly. Supermarkets within walking distance. Picturesque old town. Jump in the car and go to Montgo National park for lots of walks. Local markets. Stayed 6 nights, didn't want to leave!
We have a Bungalow and we are very happy to stay here. The first time we come to Javea from Larvik Norway and we had a caravan and stayed from Septembre in 2015 until February2016 in caravan then we moved in to a Bungalow and we LOVE this camp:)
