Excellent in every way. From the friendly and helpful greeting on booking in, to the large standard pitch with drainage and water nearby, to wonderful toilet and shower facilities that are constantly monitored and cleaned, lovely local town of Alcossebre just 3km. Superb site restaurant. Large reasonably priced supermarket which is a franchise of Consum so you will not get ripped off like on so many sites. Minor negatives in our opinion. Steps into toilet shower facilities a bit dangerous, should be all ramped. Large units, i.e. YankTanks, 5th wheelers and very large caravans would struggle to drive around the site, there are extra large pitches but not extra large corners to reach them! Overall this site is exceptional and one to visit if you haven\'t before like us. Tip, make sure you have a 25m electric lead.
A great location for a camping site. The pitches were a little condensed but the location was well worth it. It had a beautiful pool, a great restaurant and supermarket but most of all e loved the beach which was on the doorstep and was just beautiful. We had our bikes too and it was a pleasure to cycle into the small town (about 2miles) for even more variation and a great local market. We would definitely return
Lovely site very popular. On beach. Acsi pitches small but can pay for larger ones. Good walking and cycling in area.
One of our favourite camp sites after 4 visits I have not found anything I can fault, the location is ideal walk across
the road onto a sandy beach the campsite as everything we need an excellent supermarket with very competitive overall 5 star plus
Narrow roads single carriage, once leaving the main 340 unless you go through Alcossebre.
Good flat pitches on shingle, Hot showers good laundry. Has small food shop with Spar in the town.
Camp site right on breach with good flat cycling.
Down side, Dogs barking most nights from kennels.
We originally intended our stay here as a one night stopover on our way further south. However, we like it so much, we ended up staying for around 5 days. The campsite is kept spotless by the staff. We particularly liked the shop and restaurant facilities which were reasonably priced. The site is quite distant from the nearest town/village. Took us maybe 45 minutes to get there & we\\\'re regular walkers. When we eventually got there, late morning, it appeared to be \\\'closed\\\' - only found one bar open ! So, for the rest of our stay we just relaxed in the surroundings of the campsite after a long drive from Caen.
Excellent campsite for winter, very friendly staff, very good walking and cycling in the vicinity, right by the beach, a nice village within walking distance.
An excellent campsite immediately adjacent to the sea with good sized pitches allowing fairly easy access, It has a well stocked supermarket on-site with some camping equipment available. The staff were friendly and efficient and the site and facilities well maintained and very clean. The restaurant, which appears to be family run, was extremely good with a menu del dia served both at midday and in the evening, and provided excellent value for money.
Personalmente me gusta bastante lugar tranquilo junto al mar mediterraneo perfecto para familias restaurante de autentico lujo asi como estupendo super a precios muy muy razonables.
We chose this site because it allowed dogs, however on arrival we were faced with a No Dog sign. On further examination we discovered that dogs were confined to about 14 pitches near to the gate. Since people without dogs were also using these pitches it would seem that it could be difficult to secure a dog allocated pitch during busy periods. The pitch we chose was large and ideal for us. The only problem was the fact that it was close to reception and the Mynah bird that lived there. This would start to chirp and sing, quite loudly as soon as the sun came up, not too bad at 7am in April but not sure how popular it would be in the summer months when the sun rises at 4am!
The showers and sanitary facilities were very good. The prices at the camp supermarket were generally reasonable; so to was the food and drinks at the nearby bar/ restaurant. Unfortunately the main swimming pool was being renovated and didn’t open in time for easter. The beach is just across the road. The internet was expensive , connection was slow although when I discussed this with reception I was told that everyone else had a good connection but that a technician would come out in the next hour……..nobody came. Over Easter the site became quite full and again we were unfortunate to have two inconsiderate Spanish families sharing a pitch close to ours. These people would tie there dog to a tree on the pitch and go out for the day, usually returning around midnight, on one occasion they returned at that time and started to have a bbq. Whilst they were away their dog would be howling and barking constantly. This was all in front of the reception area approximately 30 yards away. Would I go back here again? Probably as sometimes a visit can just be a mixture of a series of unfortunate events and I take some reassurance from the fact that many Brits on a winter rally really liked the site.
