In Croatia, on the island of Krk, is where you will find Campsite Bor amid the olive trees. Here you camp at a quiet campsite close to the centre of Krk and the sea. The campsite is run by the Mrakovcic family and they produce olive oil and wines there. It is a popular holiday destination for many campers due to the pleasant Mediterranean climate. Sun lovers can enjoy the warm rays of sun early in the spring and the clear water attracts many divers and water sports fans.

By foot to the historic city centre

The campsite is within walking distance of the historic centre of Krk. The ideal thing about this location is that you are not bothered by the busy city but it is very close by. During the summer months, cultural events are organised regularly in Krk.

Camping under the olive trees

The partly demarcated pitches are situated on wide terraces, with olive and fig trees providing shade. There is of course less shade in the areas with young olive trees. The special tent field is car free. The campsite offers the option to store your caravan here in the winter, for a fee.

Between the larger campsites nearby, this is the right place for campers who are looking for more peace and quiet. There are three swimming pools: a wading pool and two standard swimming pools. As the pools are not so large, it is quieter here. The beach is pretty busy and is approximately 800 metres away. The walk back is quite a hike as the campsite is situated on a hill.

Wat een geweldige camping. Prachtige plekken, loopafstand stad en strand, goed restaurant maar vooral supervriendelijk personeel.
Super sanitairgebouw, elke ochtend verse broodjes en heerlijke eigen olijfolie.

Uitstekende camping, prachtig luxe sanitaire voorzieningen! Schoon royale plaatsen. Wij stonden in mei heerlijk rustig onder de olijfbomen. Goed te lopen het dorp ( Goed voor de beenspieren). Zwembad is voor kleuters. Restaurant was Uitstekend qua eten, prijs en personeel. Een top camping!

Wij zijn 1 week op Bor gebleven. Een hele fijne camping, vriendelijk personeel. We gingen eten in het restaurant en vroegen om sardientjes. De eigenaar zei, die heb ik niet op de kaart, maar wanneer kom je weer eten. Wij zeiden, overmorgen. En ja hoor, het had hem wel moeite gekost maar er waren heerlijke sardientjes.
Hulde ! De zelf gemaakte wijnen waren voortreffelijk.
Ook zeer goede gehandicapten voorzieningen. We kregen een plaats dichtbij het restaurant, op hetzelfde niveau als de voorziening.

Camping ligt erg hoog. Lopen naar het centrum van KrK zal op de heenweg nog wel gaan( afdalen) maar terug is stevig omhoog lopen. Er is wel een shuttlebus. Veel plekken zonder schaduw. Sanitair is bagger. Veel te weinig en nagenoeg koud water. Geen warm water voor het afwassen. Vuilnis wordt niet tijdig opgehaald dus veel rommel. Beoordeling ACSI inspecteur is veel te rooskleurig. Camping minder geschikt voor mindervaliden gezien de hellingen op de camping.

Veel te weinig wc\'s en douches en heel vies. Is veel te duur en zwembad mag de naam niet dragen. Stadje KRK is prachtig.

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Vrij grote, professionele camping. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst en ruime keus uit plekken. Uitzicht op Krk is prachtig. Sanitairgebouw vooraan de camping is zeer modern en prima. Het andere inderdaad erg gedateerd en klein. Zwembaden precies genoeg om lekker even af te koelen. Let op dat je alleen contant kunt betalen. Dit geldt trouwens ook voor het hele eiland. Je zit hoog en daardoor hoor je wat er gebeurt in het stadje. Wij konden daardoor meegenieten van het dorpsfeest. Vonden wij niet storend. Klim naar beneden hebben we gewoon met de auto gedaan. Er zijn zat parkeerplaatsen beneden zodat je Krk kunt bekijken. Dat is zeker de moeite waard. Wij waren er slechts 2 dagen maar langer verblijf was zeker leuk geweest.

Prima ontvangst , standaard plaatsen met ACSI korting zijn goed , sanitair verouderd maar netjes . Zeer slechte WiFi . KrK is gezellig en mooi .

Leuke familiecamping, die een beetje hogerop gelegen is. Sanitair is basic maar wordt netjes onderhouden. Je campeert tussen de olijfbomen. Even naar beneden wandelen naar de kiezelstrandjes en het dorpje Krk. De smalle straatjes in het dorp met winkeltjes, restaurantjes en barretjes zijn zeer gezellig. Na 2 campervakanties raden we deze camping zeker aan.
