In the northernmost tip of the island of Krk, directly on the Adriatic Sea, lies the brand new Omisalj campsite. With a panoramic swimming pool, luxurious rental accommodations (some with a private pool) and a sanitary building with royal allure, this is a five-star campsite for the luxury camper.

Luxury pitches and rental accommodations

Don't expect lush woodland or rugged nature at Camp Omisalj: everything about the campsite is neatly laid-out. The campsite is slightly terraced, the height differences are marked by small stone walls. Young plants and flowers separate the pitches. There is little shade, as the terrain is still fairly bare and the plants are not yet fully grown. This allows you to enjoy the view of the Adriatic Sea from your camping pitch.

You also have the choice to stay in one of the fully equipped mobile homes. They have air conditioning (fine during hot summer days) and some of these mobile homes even have a (partially) private swimming pool.

Beach and panorama swimming pool

The campsite stretches along the pebble beach of the artificially constructed Pušća Bay. The water is shallow and crystal-clear. It's ideal for a leisurely swim and children can play safely. The campsite swimming pool is close to the beach. From this long pool, where you can swim fine laps, you have a panoramic view of the Adriatic Sea. There is a toddler pool for little swimmers.

Culinary camping

At the poolside is the large restaurant, where several Mediterranean meals are served. If you'd like to try out being the campsite chef, you can find everything you need for a home-made meal in your caravan or camper in the supermarket on the campsite.

Travelling party: Seniors

Schöner Strand, großzügige Stellplätze mit Strom, Wasser und Entsorgung. Die Flughafennähe hat nicht gestört, da es nur wenig Flugverkehr (4-6Flugzeuge pro Tag) gab.
Ein Bus fährt ebenfalls durch den Platz, mit dem man die Ortschaften in Krk erkunden kann. Wir haben zwar keine Kinder, aber denken dass der Platz gut mit Kindern geeignet ist.

Waren im September 22 dort. Der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gut gefallen.
Der Hundestrand ist hervorragend. Die Sanitären Anlage sehr modern und immer sauber. Nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit, ausser dem Supermarkt am Platz, ca. 1,5Km entfernt.

bester campingplatz mit Hund in istrien und auf Krk tolle bade Möglichkeiten mit Hund hierfür gibt es einen grossen Strandabschnitt die Stellplätze für womos sind einfach klasse entweder parzeliert oder frei stehen direkt am Strand alle Einrichtungen sind vorhanden und der platz ist toll angelegt einziges Manko es müsste ein sanitärhaus im Bereich der womostellplätze gebaut werden da der weg zur entsorgung und duschen ziemlich weit ist wir haben hier im September eine klasse zeit verbracht mit Hund der Preis für eine Übernachtung mit acsi card super

Haben diesen Platz ohne Reservierung angefahren und wollten einige Nächte bleiben.
Haben noch einen Platz weiter hinten bekommen, soweit alles i.O. Das Sanitär ist in Ordnung, zeigt aber durch die vielen Nutzer doch schon Spueren. Leider wurden die Hygiene- und Papierbehälter nicht immer aufgefüllt, obwohl das Personal durch war.
Früher hatte der Platz einen Hundebereich, davon ist jetzt allerdings nichts mehr zu sehen. Die Hunde haben auf dem gesamten Platz exorbitant zugenommen. Scheinbar geht campem ohne Hund nicht mehr. Und viele Auslaufmöglichkeiten gibt es nicht, so sind die Rückstände leider überall zu sehen und das markieren direkt neben dir wird von den Besitzern durch wegschauen aktzeptiert. Da macht campen leider keine Freude mehr.

Travelling party: Family with children <4 years

Ich habe selbst einen Hund aber das war Urlaub im Hundeklo! Die Hunde pinkeln sich am Nicht-Hundestrand aus und es stinkt, weil es selten regnet. Hatten unsere Liegen an einem Baum abgestellt und es stank dort fürchterlich. Unser Kind wollten wir nicht auf dem vollgepinkelten Kies sitzen lassen. Es werden die Hunde sogar mit an den Pool genommen und auf den Liegen geparkt. Die Gehwege sind voll mit verschmiertem Kot. Zigarettenkippen überall am Strand. Wochenlang fällt alle 20 Minuten tagsüber ständig der Strom aus. Mehrmals nur kalte Duschen. Wenn man nach einer halben Stunde anstehen eine bekommt. 16 Kabinen für den ganzen Platz, ein Witz. Im Waschhaus alles ungepflegt. In den Spiegeln kann man kaum noch was erkennen. Föne funktionieren teilweise nicht. Kaputte Türschlösser oder gar nicht erst vorhanden. Ablagen und Haken fehlen, nur noch Löcher vorhanden. Eine Dusche ohne Licht, man ist komplett im Dunkeln. Boden extrem glatt, wenn er nass ist. Toilettenbecken knarzen, als ob sie nicht festgeschraubt sind. Seifenspender ständig leer. Da hilft es auch nicht, dass die sehr netten Reinigungskräfte ihr Bestes geben. Keinen interessiert es. Andere haben sich auch beschwert die Rezeptionsleitung meinte nur: \" Dann fahren sie doch woanders hin!\" So macht man Geschäfte, weil jeder Hund auch Extrageld bringt. Total überbucht, dementsprechend auch voll. Landschaftlich karg, aber nett angelegt. Wasser sehr sauber. Man sollte ohne Vorzelt und Markise klarkommen. Hatten eine Woche Dauerwind mit Böen, konnten in der zweiten Reihe nichts aufbauen. Andere hat es schlimmer getroffen. Selbst im geschützteren Wäldchen sind !geschlossene! Dachhauben geflogen und das im August.

Veel te duur voor wat het is. Nog nooit meegemaakt zoveel te betalen voor onze hondjes. Dit allemaal voor \'standaard\' plaats .. naast de vuilbakken en sanitair helaas ook niet vlakbij. Zwembad kouder dan de zee.
