Only 8 km south-west of the city of Tours, you will find camping La Mignardière, the ideal base for exploring the Touraine region. The region is rich in history, gastronomy and attractive nature. The campsite presents itself as ‘hôtellerie de plein air’ (open air hotel) which is an indication that everything revolves around pleasing the holiday guests.

Peaceful ambiance

Once arrived on the campsite you will feel the peaceful atmosphere. The pitches are situated along wide, paved roads and make a well maintained impression. The right hand side of the camping grounds is reserved for the permanent pitches and the rental accommodation with high hedges between the pitches and the left hand side is for overnight guests with less clearly demarcated pitches under scattered trees. If you have not brought your own tent, caravan or camper van, you can rent a chalet or mobile caravan for max. 6 persons.

Service

The shop on the campsite stocks all basic necessities, such as daily fresh bread, and you can get snacks in the cafetaria. Restaurants and a supermarket can be found in Ballan-Miré, 2 km away, or in Joué-lès-Tours, on the other side of the D37. There is a market in Ballan-Miré on Fridays and Sunday mornings.

Swimming pool

Near the entrance you will also find a heated swimming pool consisting of a covered and an open section, surrounded by an attractive terrace. Next to this are a tennis court and a soccer field/playing field. Further than that there is little entertainment on the campsite, but across the road is a fun park with an extensive range of attractions for young and old.

Liked - Je suis venue avec ma petite-fille et nous avons passé une semaine dans ce camping. Nous étions situées à proximité de la piscine ce qui était agréable, cela faisait un peu de vie dans ce camping vraiment très calme. Le camping propose une piscine couverte, une découverte et une pataugeoire et elles sont ouvertes jusqu'à 21 heures, on peut donc se baigner assez tard. Elles sont très bien entretenues mais manque cruellement de places à l'ombre.
Disliked - Nous avons regretté qu'il n'y ait aucune activité pour réunir les vacanciers, pas de clubs pour les enfants, pas de soirées organisées et c'est vraiment dommage. La boutique du camping propose le minimum mais il y a une moyenne surface à 5mn. La Région est sympa, certains châteaux de la Loire pas très loin. Du coup, nous sommes beaucoup sorties du camping.

Disliked - Emplacements de camping minuscules, on est tous les uns sur les autres. Épicerie très peu achalandée

Liked - Piscines couverte et découvertes. Emplacements variés et bien délimité permettant convivialité et intimité.
Grand nombre de sanitaires bien équipés, très adaptés aux enfants.

Liked - Deuxieme sejour a la Mignardiere pour faire decouvrir les chateaux et autres sites interressant a proximite pour nos petites filles.
Disliked - Dommage que le parc de jeux n.existait plus. Parcontre super pour le snack et le restaurant de la Mignardiere a proximite.

Liked - jeune fille à l accueil très gentille- bonne espace baignade - le calme du camping car pas d animations - le lac tout prés pour la promenade- pain le matin sans commander - camping proche des magasins
Disliked - piscine pas trés chaude surtout à l'exterieur - pediluve sale en periode d'affluence - piscine intérieure trouble , pas trop de chlore- n avions pas vu auparavant qu'il n'y avait aucune animation surtout le soir - bruit trop tot le matin
