In the middle of the Loire Valley forests you’ll find the campsite l'Orangerie de Beauregard. Camp here like royalty near the castle of Beauregard. The beautiful pitches are situated under tall trees or on grassy fields. Here you camp with the whole family in the middle of nature. Visit the local markets with regional products or enjoy a delicious meal in the restaurant. You can also take a dip in the heated swimming pool.

Royal camping

The camping pitches are on grassy fields between the trees. You can even reserve a spot in the middle of the forest. Delightful! Even in the countryside, you sometimes need a bit of comfort. Then book a comfort pitch. It has a barbecue and a picnic table. So you can enjoy a long dinner at your own caravan. Would you like some extra regal camping? Then stay in one of the cottages at the castle.

Play table tennis with your holiday friends

Your children will have the holiday of their lives at L'Orangerie de Beauregard. They can play with many other children under the age of twelve. Together with their new holiday friends, they can play table tennis, do crafts and much more. In the meantime, you take it easy: sip Vouvray, a sparkling white wine, during a wine tasting. A local and worldwide celebrity.

Every week in the high season, fun markets are organised at the campsite. Here you can browse through the local products. Or sit on the terrace with a glass of wine and a steaming hot pizza. Would you like to visit a slightly bigger market? Then cycle or walk through the woods to Villedômer.

Liked - Merveilleuse surface mais mortel
Pas d’animation
Pas d’ambiance familiale
Pas de thème hors le marché sans musique
Terrain de basket au milieu du camping très bruyant quant il y’a du terrain à exploiter autour
Bref bien placé mais on y retournera pas…

Disliked - Atmosphère froide pas familiale pas à la francaise

Liked - Prachtige omgeving, mooie kampeerplekken
Disliked - Een toiletgroep gesloten, ver lopen voor toiletten en slechts vijf toiletten beschikbaar voor een hele camping. Niemand die daar iets over zei bij het inchecken of enige uitleg bij kon geven. De toiletten waren niet erg schoon, als er zoveel mensen gebruik moeten maken van zo weinig voorzieningen is een extra schoonmaak noodzakelijk. Zwembad klein in verhouding tot het aantal bezoekers.

Liked - Het zwembad was aangenaam warm. Het campeer terein is aantrekkelijk en goed vezorgd.
Disliked - De sanitaire voorzieningen kunnen properder. Deze worden onvoldoende grondig gekuist en worden als speelruimte doir kinderen gebruikt.

Liked - Restaurant was goed.
Disliked - De ontvangst bij de receptie, onvriendelijk en niet behulpzaam, bij binnenkomst gelijk betalen.
Douche gaf alleen koud water.

Disliked - Weinig te doen voor tiener, ook in de omgeving weinig voor ze te doen. Nauwelijks zwemgelegenheid.

Liked - Der Foodmarkt montags ist super.
Disliked - Schade, dass das beworbene Kinderprogramm ganz spontan verschoben wurde. Außerdem wäre es schön, wenn auch das 2. Toilettenhaus wieder in Betrieb genommen werden kann, so sind die Wege - gerade nachts und für Kinder - doch sehr weit.

Liked - Good location. Amboise very close. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Disliked - Pitch not very flat. Nearest shower block had only cold water due to breakdown of plant. No grey drain on serviced pitch only water and electric.

Liked - If this campsite was in Uk, I would report to asa for fake advertising, the L'Orangerie is now changing rooms, not sure how much of the L'Orangerie building is original, was looking forward to seeing oranges growing, nearest sanctity block to my location, had no wc’s accessible for either gender, no explanation and site still charging full price for the pitch, had I of known I might have booked a different campsite, ridiculous sized pitch for a campervan, trees everywhere, so not great for solar energy, however welcome for shielding from sun, no directions as to where water taps were.
Disliked - The extended walk on crunchy paths to the working wc’s, at least 600m plus away, hazard of luke warm water for all the basins/ wash facilities, possible legionella hazard

Liked - Well run, good facilities, very clean and good size pitches. Lovely setting and village nearby. Let down only by an officious initial welcome atreception - all other staff lovely and friendly.

Liked - Paysage magnifique et possibilité de se balader au abord du camping
Disliked - Dommage qu'il n'y ai pas plus d'activité en Français pour nos enfants. Les animateurs ne parler pas un mot de français.
J'ai eu l'impression de déranger en tant que française, comme je parler pas anglais. C'était mal aisant
