In the middle of the Loire Valley forests you’ll find the campsite l'Orangerie de Beauregard. Camp here like royalty near the castle of Beauregard. The beautiful pitches are situated under tall trees or on grassy fields. Here you camp with the whole family in the middle of nature. Visit the local markets with regional products or enjoy a delicious meal in the restaurant. You can also take a dip in the heated swimming pool.

Royal camping

The camping pitches are on grassy fields between the trees. You can even reserve a spot in the middle of the forest. Delightful! Even in the countryside, you sometimes need a bit of comfort. Then book a comfort pitch. It has a barbecue and a picnic table. So you can enjoy a long dinner at your own caravan. Would you like some extra regal camping? Then stay in one of the cottages at the castle.

Play table tennis with your holiday friends

Your children will have the holiday of their lives at L'Orangerie de Beauregard. They can play with many other children under the age of twelve. Together with their new holiday friends, they can play table tennis, do crafts and much more. In the meantime, you take it easy: sip Vouvray, a sparkling white wine, during a wine tasting. A local and worldwide celebrity.

Every week in the high season, fun markets are organised at the campsite. Here you can browse through the local products. Or sit on the terrace with a glass of wine and a steaming hot pizza. Would you like to visit a slightly bigger market? Then cycle or walk through the woods to Villedômer.

Liked - What a brilliant site! We loved our shady spot under the trees and there was a lovely, relaxed atmosphere throughout. The facilities were aplenty and well maintained. It waStaff were helpful and welcoming. We appreciated Tim taking the time to chat to us about the history of the Chateau. We enjoyed pizza, beer and local desserts on-site during the market night and had a lovely meal in the ‘Stables’ (onsite restaurant). We really couldn’t fault a thing and hope to return next Summer. It’s a perfect base from which to explore the Loire Valley further! Thanks to all the staff for their hard work.

Travelling party: Seniors

Liked - Geweldige camping met heerlijk zwembad. Kleine camping winkel waar elke ochtend het bestelde brood gehaald kan worden. De wijnproeverij op de camping is een echte aanrader. Leuke bezienswaardigheden (kastelen) in de omgeving.
Disliked - Het was jammer dat van het dichtstbijzijnde toiletgebouw de toiletten buitengebruik waren.

Liked - There was plenty of shade behind our plot under the trees which we really appreciated , but plots in full sun were struggling with the extreme hot weather. Site was overall spacious and well thought out.

Liked - Excellent hosts. Helpful advice on things to do. Very clean washrooms. Restaurant had a good menu and was reasonably priced. Monday night market square event was lovely. Swimming pool was clean and had a good range of seating around the immediate pool and beyond.

Liked - Lovely site, very quiet and secluded. Pool was lovely and clean. Everyone on site was friendly and helpful. Activities, Monday market and even live music was available one evening. However, it was unobtrusive so not forced on anyone. We loved listening to the owls at night.
Disliked - Were not always able to access the WiFi however not really needed
