Royal camping

The camping pitches are on grassy fields between the trees. You can even reserve a spot in the middle of the forest. Delightful! Even in the countryside, you sometimes need a bit of comfort. Then book a comfort pitch. It has a barbecue and a picnic table. So you can enjoy a long dinner at your own caravan. Would you like some extra regal camping? Then stay in one of the cottages at the castle.

Liked - We loved the relaxed atmosphere and thoughtful touches (like coffee whilst waiting in line to collect bread). Facilities are very clean and well maintained, pool is perfect and the shade on our pitch (B4) was wonderful. Owners and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food at the restaurant was excellent. Basically, we loved everything!

Liked - Our first time camping and everything was perfect. The facilities are clean and plentiful, the pool was amazing and the bread/pastries you could order delicious. Great little snack bar for a lazy evening snack although no options for vegetarians (except chips). Kids facilities and entertainment options were also great. We loved it!

Liked - A lovely campsite in a beautiful part of France. So much to see and do in the area, or you could just relax in a campsite that provides everything you could possibly want. I especially enjoyed the market evening and the wine-tasting. We will be back for sure.

Liked - The ambiance, the camping is little what is nice with little children. Also the pool is neat, the children could cross in the woods and they had a lot of friends.

Liked - What a brilliant site! We loved our shady spot under the trees and there was a lovely, relaxed atmosphere throughout. The facilities were aplenty and well maintained. It waStaff were helpful and welcoming. We appreciated Tim taking the time to chat to us about the history of the Chateau. We enjoyed pizza, beer and local desserts on-site during the market night and had a lovely meal in the ‘Stables’ (onsite restaurant). We really couldn’t fault a thing and hope to return next Summer. It’s a perfect base from which to explore the Loire Valley further! Thanks to all the staff for their hard work.
