In the middle of the Loire Valley forests you’ll find the campsite l'Orangerie de Beauregard. Camp here like royalty near the castle of Beauregard. The beautiful pitches are situated under tall trees or on grassy fields. Here you camp with the whole family in the middle of nature. Visit the local markets with regional products or enjoy a delicious meal in the restaurant. You can also take a dip in the heated swimming pool.

Royal camping

The camping pitches are on grassy fields between the trees. You can even reserve a spot in the middle of the forest. Delightful! Even in the countryside, you sometimes need a bit of comfort. Then book a comfort pitch. It has a barbecue and a picnic table. So you can enjoy a long dinner at your own caravan. Would you like some extra regal camping? Then stay in one of the cottages at the castle.

Play table tennis with your holiday friends

Your children will have the holiday of their lives at L'Orangerie de Beauregard. They can play with many other children under the age of twelve. Together with their new holiday friends, they can play table tennis, do crafts and much more. In the meantime, you take it easy: sip Vouvray, a sparkling white wine, during a wine tasting. A local and worldwide celebrity.

Markets at the campsite

Every week in the high season, fun markets are organised at the campsite. Here you can browse through the local products. Or sit on the terrace with a glass of wine and a steaming hot pizza. Would you like to visit a slightly bigger market? Then cycle or walk through the woods to Villedômer.

Travelling party: Young couple

Liked - Really lovely setting and has lots of potential
Disliked - Didn’t like the push button showers and no temperature control. Too hot.

Chairs at restaurant and Orangerie very uncomfortable, and really didn’t like the deckchairs round the pool. Need sunloungers.

Liked - We had a lovely stay. The weather was hot so appreciate our shadey pitch very much. It made it a lovely place to relax day and night. I don't know if it was deliberate but being a couple without children it felt like consideration has been given to this and we we were put on H5 In a lovely quiet spot. If this was deliberate it was very much appreciated since we were there for 9 nights . We loved the wine tasting on Friday and the pool and bar were beautiful. Also loved the village square feel in the village. We spent many lovely afternoons with an iced coffee in the shade of the restaurant.
Disliked - Nothing we disliked at all. We had a lovely stay some things which would have made it even better would be if there was an access path from the H5 side of the campsite to the pool. It was fine to get to the pool if there was an empty pitch but otherwise we're cutting across people. Would also be fab to have a freezer for icepacs which was a bit more accessible ( in the laundry or washing up area maybe) if we got home after 6 we couldnt retrieve them. we also didn't know where to get water as we had a non electronic pitch and the water tap seemed allocated to other pitches, so we got some looks

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Liked - A very well run campsite with lots of amenities in a wonderful setting
Disliked - It was quite crowded due to being peak season. Definitely great for little kids though. Portions of food at restaurant were on the small side and could have been more generous.

Liked - Lovely site. Friendly - our children liked it a lot.
Disliked - Ablutions need a deep clean - especially the showers. A lot of inflexibility around opening times of shop, restaurant and bar. Bar was not open when meant to be. Probably needs greater supervision of junior staff to make the site more efficient.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Liked - The pool, the kids club, the barn and the market on Monday evening are all real draws.
Disliked - The restaurant is fine but quite pricey for pretty average food.

Liked - Attractive campsite with a nice courtyard surrounded by a lovely forest, perfect for walks with the dog. Very friendly and helpful staff. The teenagers enjoyed the pool and the barn. A dim solar lighting and white footpaths made it easy to see in the evenings. Lively and a happy atmosphere with lots of families but very quiet after 10 pm.
Disliked - The dinner in the restaurant was not quite what we expected..
