Camping Domaine de Gajan is located in the midst of nature, far away from traffic noise, in the Herault. A region with lovely hills and winding rivers. The nature around you offers everything you need for sports activities and the old cities are perfect for day trips.

Well-deserved peace and quiet in a natural environment

After being welcomed by a French couple, you'll see that the property is natural and well-maintained. What you'll really notice is the peace and quiet. Some of the pitches are on a grassy field and have no shade. The pitches under the oak trees do have shade. Rental accommodations are available in the form of two lodge tents. The sanitation in the old building was renovated in 2015 and is great.

Swimming pool with water slide

In the high season, you will find many families with children here. The 50-metre long heated swimming pool has a water slide for the kids. To swim in the sea, you must drive about 30 kilometres. Beautiful beaches are found at La Grande Motte and Le Grau du Roi.

Small campground shop and the Saturday market

The restaurant with terrace is a wonderful place to eat. There is also a bar with a large TV. There is a small shop on site where you can buy soft drinks and a few basic articles. You can go to the Hypermarché 4 kilometres away for your daily shopping.

Many cycling and hiking routes start at the campground. You can also canoe on the Hérault river, and Montpellier, Nîmes and the Saturday market in Sommières are also lovely outings.

Liked - Il y a beaucoup des facilite pour les enfants. Pour jouer, mais aussi pour prendre une douche, I'll y a des cabine famille avec une douche adult et une douche enfants! Tres practique avec des enfants age 3 et 6! Aussi il y a des toillets pour les petits! Genial! Tout qui est montre sur le website est vraiement la et dans une tres bonne condition.
Disliked - Le douche enfant etait un peu trop difficule pour appuyer par un enfant petit, mais c'est pas grave du tout. Les activites le soir sont un peu trop long et trop tard pour nous avec notre petits enfants. Et il ya beaucoup de bruit a cause de ca. On peut pas encore les laisser dormir tout seule dans la tente et y aller tout seule. Alors, quelque chose pour blocque le bruit pour le rest du camping serais parfait. Mais ca c'est vraiment chercher des 'manquements'. Tu ne peut pas plaire tout le monde! Le camping est toujours super et c'est tres possible qu'on reviens.
