La Pindière is located in the quiet surroundings of Nantes, close to the beach,. This well-tended campsite is an ideal camping destination for families. You will camp on green pitches surrounded by neat hedges. With a covered, heated swimming pool, you can enjoy diving and splashing around. For A day at the beach is less than a one hour drive away.

Well-kept campsite with spacious pitches

Taut hedges, green lawns and nicely laid out paths... La Pindière is a well-tended campsite, and it shows in everything. The owners have a beautiful, spacious pitch for you. So you can camp in a nice spot where you can enjoy your holiday in peace and quiet. Would you like to add a special touch to your holiday in France? Then spend the night in a lovely gypsy caravan.

A warm pool and a day at the beach

Jump into a nice warm pool! The campsite has a heated, covered swimming pool. The whole family can enjoy a dip in the water here. Part of the pool is shallow. So the little ones can also enjoy splashing around. Please note that it is compulsory to wear a speedo. Looking for a bigger pool? Then drive to the sea! The Atlantic Ocean is only 45 minutes away. Take your bath towel and bikini and drive to Saint-Nazaire or Pornichet.

Do your shopping on foot

For the groceries you get on your bike or you go on foot. There is a large supermarket just outside Héric. Héric is also the place to go for your daily croissants. Next to the church in the centre you will find a traditional boulangerie.

Liked - We made a mistake and arrived on the wrong date. That proved no problem for the owner who came to meet us and fixed us up.
I would like to stay on this campsite in better weather to judge the ammenities as the toilets and showers were the only things open in early March and they were clean and warm.

Liked - This is a lovely gem of a campsite - so convenient off the main road and easy to find. Pitches are well kept, flat and very spacious. The Staff/Reception are extremely welcoming. Swimming pool complex is excellent - spotlessly clean and water lovely and warm. We had a problem with our motorbike whilst there and a very nice man lent us his battery charger to enable us to get it on the road again. So helpful. Showers/Toilet areas modern, clean and extremely well kept. Love this site and would recommend to anyone - will definitely be returning.

Liked - Our reception was friendly, informative and helpful. this remained throughout our all too short stay. The atmosphere is friendly efficient and relaxed. Facilities are simple, but spotlessly clean. Good easy access recycling.
Disliked - Access to the grey water disposal for motorhomes a bit fiddly, we are under 7 m and manoevreable, but for larger homes it would be very difficult. One solution would be provision of a hose you could fit onto the disposal tap to reach the grating.

Great stop over site, a short drive from motor way, with a fantastic pool, food available, close to super market, staff are always willing to help at any time, very friendly, very close to Nantes for site seeing and worth extending your stay to visit.

Highly recommend this site - owners very friendly and helpful and nothing too much trouble. Some pitches large and hedges at sides so private. Easy access for autoroute and would certainly use again- within walking distance of Héric Village on safe cycle path and supermarket a few minutes walk away. If coming from direction of Héric watch closely on left as signpost to site slightly in from road.

stayed here again on our way down south and our return in May. although lots of young men from different nationality they where very polite , very quiet campsite , lovely pool and food both hosts lovely helpful people. be there again in September

Very friendly people who speak excellent english. We were here in early October so the pool and restaurant were closed but looked fine. The showers were warm and clean with plenty of hot water. Handy supermarket close by. I would thoroughly recommend this site.

This site makes a useful overnight stop if you're heading for southern Brittany or the Atlantic coast, but I doubt whether there's enough of interest in the surrounding area to justify a longer stay. It's under new management this year, and the new manageress (who used to be an employee) is clearly determined to be helpful. The main drawback of the site for me as a tent camper was very hard and stony ground.

We have many different types of pitches, some hard-standing and some grassy. I am pretty sure we could have found a smoothier pitch for your tent. Next time you come, I'll see to it.

we stayed twice at this camp site on our way to southern France and on the way back. Anna the site owner speaks excellent English. She organised a vet appointment for our dog. Very friendly and most helpful. Going back in a few weeks on way down south.
