General information
Flower Campings

This campsite is located further inland, in the middle of nature and close to the sandy beaches of cosmopolitan Les Sables-d'Olonne. The village of Le Château-d’Olonn is just three kilometres away, with restaurants and a daily market.

Well-structured campsite with plenty of greenery

This campsite is very green due to the varied vegetation. The grounds are well-organised and the campsite exudes a peaceful atmosphere. The touring pitches are well-maintained and clearly marked by hedges and trees. They are situated on grass and are spacious enough for a car with a tent or caravan, or a motorhome. There are also various types of accommodations available for rent: mobile homes, 'roulottes' (covered wagons), furnished bungalow tents and cottages.

Large outdoor pool and picnics with horse and carriage

There is a large heated outdoor swimming pool with a sliding roof and a water slide. The pool is situated in the sunshine, and there are also poolside loungers available. There is also a paddling pool and a unique man-made 'lagoon' (swimming pond), complete with sandy beach, palm trees and loungers. All sorts of special activities are organised for the campsite guests. In the peak season, there is an entertainment programme for the children and aqua gym every day. The picnic trips with horse and carriage are also really fun. Other activities include folk evenings, complete with bagpipes, accordions and folk dancing.

Pizza or hamburger?

In the restaurant, you will find a simple menu and takeaway meals. Would you rather have a pizza, hamburger, or chips? Next to the restaurant is a bar with a patio. There is a shop, but with a very limited range of products.

Liked - The very Best thing which I found so good was the small elevated decking and picnic table we had supplied on every pitch . A Brilliant idea .We enjoyed the campsite , position to town and our pitch was in nice quiet area over looking the paddock. The general cleanliness of the campsite is very impressive for a busy site. The staff are very pleasant and genuinely helpful . The sanitary units are clean but I imagine in high season would be inadequate . The shower heads are great plenty of pressure
But very little hot water early morning .

Disliked - There are no hooks in smaller shower block to hang your clothes or belongings.
Very little hot water in either shower or laundry . But neither would put us off returning .

Liked - We were greeted at reception with a warm friendly smile. All staff were very nice and friendly. The pool area and bathing area was of a good standard with a lifeguard on duty.
Disliked - The majority of toilets did not have toilet seats on them. One block totally had no seats at all, this block is quite small for the amount of people using so I did tend to use the shower block by reception instead.

Liked - The staff on arrival were very welcoming and informative. The site is small and secure but had everything you would need.
Disliked - I would have liked to have been further away from the road and the main area where the music was quite loud, quite late.

Travelling party: Family with children <4 years

Liked - Great location on a track which took you straight to he beach or town as a short cycle away. Friendly staff and all facilities present.
Disliked - Pool was not ideal for a small baby with noisy groups in an enclosed space. Shop had limited selection but neighbouring campsite shop was a small walk away.

Liked - This was our 3rd year here and the place gets better each time. The staff are always warm and welcoming and very helpful. I can’t recommend this site more highly.
Disliked - There is nothing to dislike the only comment I would make is the new pitch we were on this year was a little more of a squeeze than before but it was fine.
