In Loix, the smallest village on the Ile de Ré, island on the west coast of France, you'll find Flower Camping Les Ilates. This lively campsite is located between salt marshes and oyster beds, close to the Atlantic Ocean. Here, campers can take a dip in the large heated swimming pool with paddling pool, where water polo matches are held in high season. The summer months are full of fun anyway, as the entertainment programme is extensive.

Well-maintained campsite with mobile homes

The campsite looks well cared for and tidy. Approximately seventy spacious touring pitches with grassy ground are separated from each other by large hedges. So you always have privacy on your pitch. Most of the pitches on the campsite are reserved for rental accommodations. You can choose from mainly classic mobile homes, but you can also spend the night in glamping tents or in a special Cabane Lodgetent on stilts.

Large heated swimming pool

The beautiful swimming pool is situated in the middle of the campsite. This heated outdoor pool is very spacious. In addition to the large pool is a spacious paddling pool, so even the youngest water enthusiasts will be able to enjoy their water fun. Big advantage: the swimming pool is also open in the evenings. Got hungry from all that swimming? Next to the swimming pool is the restaurant. Take a seat at the pavement café and order a pizza.

Atlantic Ocean and beach

If you like the sea, you'll be fine here. From the campsite, a paved road takes you to the sandy beach at the Pointe du Grouin, one kilometre from the campsite. Because this wide sandy beach on the Atlantic Ocean is quite remote from the rest of the island, it's a lot quieter here than on the other large beaches of Île de Ré.

Accueil : très sympathique
Disliked - -la piscine n’était pas encore ouverte. Nous regrettons beaucoup de ne pas avoir été informés avant.
- dommage de ne pas prêter des raquettes de ping-pong / ballon pour pouvoir profiter des infrastructures (y’a le de ping-pong et City Park))

Liked - Nous, ma mère et moi, passait un bon séjour reposant. Nous avons apprécié le camping ni trop grand ni trop petit. J'ai apprécié la piscine. Le personnel de l'accueil est serviable, souriant et aimable. Le camping n'est pas trop loin du centre du village.
Disliked - Le personnel du restaurant peu aimable. Le manque d'animation. La plage un peu loin sans voiture pour une personne âgée.

Liked - Loix est un superbe village,.
Disliked - Le mobilhome n'était pas correctement nettoyé quand nous sommes arrivés. Il faut recruter du personnel pour permettre aux équipes d'être plus performantes. Merci de programmer la tonte des pelouses à un aute horaire que celui de la sieste des petits...

Liked - La piscine est très bien et très propre,
L'accès aux différentes plages très bien mais en vélo,
Le mobil-home très bien ainsi que les allées,
Village de Loix pas très loin mais en vélo
Disliked - mobil-homes trop collés,
Voiture à 40 mètres du mobil-home jamais nous n'avions vu ça (intérêt de gain de place hébergements sûrement), certains ne se gênaient pas pour les laisser devant chez eux alors que emplacements numérotés!!!
En 30 ans de camping c'est la première fois qu'on voit un camping aussi bruyant même dans la journée, impossible de faire une sieste ou
prendre un livre,
Les animations tous les soirs trop c'est trop jusqu'à plus de 23h15 et pourtant réputation de calme et familial !!! donc obligation d'attendre que ça s'arrête pour dormir (fin karaoké 24/08 à 23h35)
