Flower Camping L'Abri-Cotier is located to the west of the port of Rochefort, one and a half kilometres from the Atlantic Ocean. Here you can camp in peace and quiet close to the varied French west coast. Here you can visit the famous Fort Boyard, but also Île Madame, an island that can only be reached at low tide.

Via Rochefort you drive along a two-lane road between fields towards the Atlantic coast. With an entrance full of flowers and trees - even palm trees greet you as you enter the grounds - camping L'Abri-Cotier lives up to its name. Here you can camp in the shade of full trees. Hedges ensure that you camp with a lot of privacy.

Indoor swimming pool

The indoor swimming pool on the side of the campsite is ideal for lazy swimmers and for children who want to play in the water. For toddlers there is a paddling pool next to the large rectangular pool. There is a playground with a trampoline, swings and a climbing frame.

Fort Boyard and more

Rochefort is definitely worth a visit. The coastline is also interesting here. The port area is interspersed with small sandy beaches and nature reserves where water birds feel at home. Bird watchers can have a great time here. From the tip of the peninsula on the Charente River, a road leads to Île Madame, a small island in the Atlantic Ocean. This island can only be reached at low tide, via the Passe aux Bœufs, the 'cow corridor'. A little further out to sea is Fort Boyard.

Liked - bonjour : l'emplacement est un peut juste ( 12 bis ) lorsque la voiture est garé car plus de place pour les transats sauf sur la terras à l'ombre do soleil pour le bronzage ce n'est pas vraiment pratique si non pour le reste je vous classe dans les camping que nous avons apprécier bonne continuation.

Liked - Mis à part les sanitaires quelque peu restreints pour le nombre de touristes, et encore ns sommes venus pratiquement en fin de saison....donc moins de personnes, je reviendrai volontiers sans souci.
Le personnel est charmant, poli et attentif, très important.

Liked - Bonjour le seul petit reproche ,c'était pendant la soirée cabaret des personnes fumaient,ayant un problème de santé(tumeur au poumon et je je n'ai plus qu'un poumon) nous avons dut partir .

Liked - This site is very well run with efficient, friendly staff. The mobile home we hired was well located and spotlessly clean. The equipment was also in excellent condition. Meals supplied by the staff (if you required them) were of a very good standard with good entertainment laid on. Location was good for shopping in supermarket approximately 10 minutes away and a hyper market 15 to 20 minutes awa.y.

Bonne situation géographique pour visiter.

Liked - Hele prettige camping, klein, overzichtelijk, maar alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. De mobile homes zijn compleet uitgerust, zelfs een waterkoker is er. Vriendelijk personeel en leuke kleine attenties waardoor je je welkom voelt en terug wil komen.
