Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years
Liked - Good camping to stay some days and visit Avignon, Vileneuve.... and/or relax. Excellent reception (always trying to help)
Disliked - We stayed with relatives, and on the two occasions we stayed, they put us in very separate pitches (even though we asked if it was possible, to be placed in adjoining pitches -there were available-). Maybe they thought we were having a party?

Liked - Location of the site was excellent we had a view of the bridge although there is a fence between the campsite and the river. Pitches were very generous.
Disliked - This is not the sites fault but the first night there were the local youths going to the night club up the river path that runs along the campsite. Sing and shouting until 3 in the morning. Not great. Next night woken at 5 am with a boot sale or some stall market setting up on the said path. Oh well apart from that lovely.

Liked - Wanted a place near Avignon, Chateau du Pape, Mont Ventoux etc. This camping site is placed in walking distance from the very nice town of Avignon and not too far from our other places of interest.

Travelling party: Seniors
Liked - Well placed for visiting Avignon and surrounding area
Disliked - Gate locked at 10pm including no pedestrian access. Unexpectedly late back on last evening, and no code on us. No way of contacting anyone and ended up waiting 15mins for someone to come out of the site. They had trouble trying to get the gate to open, with no instructions on the inside.

Second visit and a really good stay. We transcended the low to high season so found the extra toilets a blessing. On-site bar/snacks are perfect to indulge your holiday feel … no cooking. We had a crisis with a house sale in the UK. Solicitor forgot a piece of paper for me to sign … original copy required of course. The staff were so helpful printing out the documents and finding us the means to send the papers off for 48 hr delivery to the UK. Without their help the sale would not have happened. Way beyond their normal routine. Definitely back.
