Camping Les Fontaines is situated just a kilometre away from Pernes-les-Fontaines, south of Carpentras. Pernes-les-Fontaines is a lovely small town with charming narrow streets, shops and restaurants. You can easily walk into town from the campsite.

Pitches and rental possibilities

Most of the camping pitches are located on grassy soil and have marked boundaries and electricity.

Furthermore, at Camping Les Fontaines you have plenty of choice when it comes to rental options. Several mobile homes are available for all budgets, for up to 8 people. All mobile homes are fully equipped and have a pleasant wooden terrace.

Water park with play equipment

The water park at Camping Les Fontaines, with its Provençal family atmosphere, is guaranteed to be loved. There is a lovely heated swimming pool, a paddling pool, water games, a water slide and a sun terrace with loungers and parasols to enjoy the sun.

There is plenty of entertainment available on the campsite. There is a kids' club, a playground, a petanque court, a multi-sports ground and a bouncy castle. The campsite also offers a variety of daytime and evening activities for young and old.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Liked - Mooi zwembad
Disliked - Het viel ons enorm tegen; ons huisje stond vlakbij een drukke straat met veel lawaai en tegenover de afvalplek. Mensen rijden erg hard op het terrein wat spelen voor kinderen onveilig maakte. De huisjes stonden zo dicht op elkaar dat je de sigarettenrook van de buren in ons huisje rook.
Toen we hier wat van zeiden werden we uiterst onvriendelijk te woord gestaan en ruilopties waren maar moeizaam (minder comfortabel chalet, zelf schoonmaken etc)

Travelling party: Seniors

Liked - Is perfect gelegen voor fietsliefhebbers! De omgeving biedt tal van prachtige fietsroutes, die goed bereikbaar zijn vanaf de camping. Bij het Office du Tourisme zijn bovendien gratis fietsroutes verkrijgbaar, wat een groot pluspunt is voor wie de regio verder wil verkennen. De routes zijn goed aangegeven en leiden je langs pittoreske dorpjes, mooie natuur en rustige wegen. Echt een aanrader voor iedereen die van fietsen houdt!
Disliked - Voor wandelaars is de camping echter iets minder geschikt. Hoewel er wel enkele wandelroutes in de omgeving zijn (niet aan de camping), is het aanbod beperkt in vergelijking met de fietsroutes. Voor wie graag veel en gevarieerd wandelt, kan dit een minpunt zijn.

Liked - Verblijf op een bekende plek / goede voorzieningen / prachtig dorp Pernes les Fontaines vlakbij.

Liked - Goed eten in het restaurant, mooi zwembad
Sanitair schoon
Disliked - Uitrijden bij hek moet via pas, is onveilig.
Ingang en uitgang zwembad waardeloos
Brood op bestelling, prima. Maar helaas is het er niet en komt de camping ook niet met een oplossing.
Douches helaas alleen maar (heel) warm
Wc papier vrij ontoegankelijk
Personeel soms goed maar twee enigszins onvriendelijk/ongeïnteresseerd.

Vrij kritisch, maar het zijn verbeterpunten en bij een 5 sterrencamping verwacht ik meer

Liked - Nette camping. Zeer vriendelijk personeel.
Disliked - Ik had wat meer verwacht van een 5 sterren camping. Staanplaatsen zijn krap, weinig groen op de camping, geen open gevoel. Eten restaurant niet zo goed. Winkeltje is erg beperkt. Geen grote ruimte of een plein waar de kinderen kunnen spelen.

Liked - Fijn, altijd een bedje bij het zwembad!
Disliked - Voor 5 sterren mag het sanitair wel wat beter. Plankjes scheef, douches die het slechts enkele seconden doen en niet op temperatuur te zetten zijn. Koud afwaswater.

Liked - Heerlijk zwembad, schoon sanitair, grote plaatsen, mooie ligging, leuk personeel en een leuk restaurant.
Disliked - We stonden op een plek zonder schaduw Niet echt lekker meer een jong kind. Hierdoor konden we tussen 10:00 en 19:00 eigenlijk niet bij de tent zijn. Overigens was er wel schaduw op veel andere plekken. Temperatuur van de douche was niet handmatig verstelbaar

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Liked - Netjes, comfortabel huisje (privilege), zwembad net groot genoeg, voldoende ligbedjes, heel veel te doen in de omgeving, veel supermarkten in de buurt, winkel camping heel beperkt aanbod.
Disliked - Animatie stelt niet veel voor (met zijn 3) en is enkel op Fransen gericht. Zelf spreken wij prima Frans, maar bv de quiz, karaoke, film etc alles gericht op de Franse bezoekers. De andere helft van de camping gasten (Belgen, Nederlanders, Duitsers, Britten)worden niet betrokken bij de animatie. Jammer, zo loopt de bar ook aardig wat inkomsten mis, de niet-Fransen blijven op die manier ‘s avonds bij hun huisje zitten ipv nog een drankje te nemen in de bar.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Liked - Prima camping, genoeg te doen voor kinderen. Actieve animatie en uiterst correct en vriendelijk personeel! Onze pizza’s in het restaurant waren ook meer dan prima!
Disliked - Luchtkussen ook in avond (tot bijv. 22:00 uur) beschikbaar (overdag te heet om te gebruiken!), verlichting speelplaats, die er is, aan in avond (zodat je kan tafeltennissen, voetballen of speeltuin gebruiken), camping erg Frans georienteerd terwijl eerste week 50/50 Nederlanders/Fransen was (waarom geen films met ondertiteling?, bandjes die vaak louter Franstalige muziek speelden). Daardoor met name Fransen voor in avond. Geen zicht op speelplaats vanaf terras (handig voor ouders). Zwembad veel te druk einde middag en het (over)gooien met ballen is dan ook erg hinderlijk.
