Campsite Champ la Chèvre is located in the Drôme, about 200 metres from the village of Lus-la-Croix-Haute. The location is beautiful: an alpine meadow amidst high mountains where nearly all of the campsites have a beautiful view. The campsite is an oasis of peace with a small heated swimming pool with a retractable roof. Guests staying here are mostly sporty campers who want to enjoy the surrounding mountain environment.

Comfort in nature

Upon arrival you will see immediately how extensive the property is. The spacious, grassed and flat campsites are laid out on terraces and offer beautiful views of the surrounding mountain peaks. All sites have electricity and there are taps in several locations on the grounds. There are also facilities for camper guests.

In the middle of the property there are three well maintained sanitation buildings, one with family cabins and a bathroom for babies. There are various types of accommodation to rent, varying from simple tents without a bathroom to more luxurious mobile homes and wooden chalets with their own sanitation.

Family campsite

Champ la Chèvre is a typical family campsite. The children can swim in the heated pool with a kiddie pool and jacuzzi. In July and August there is an activity programme with drawing, crafts and games. For parents and children free guided tours are organised to explore the region. You can eat out with the family on the charming terrace of the restaurant with regional specialities. There is also a pizzeria on the campsite.

In the hilly landscape with many vineyards, lavender fields and charming villages, there is plenty to enjoy during a walk, cycling tour or drive.

Liked - Het uitzicht vanaf de camping is fenomenaal. Je kan overal heerlijk wandelen, op elk niveau. Personeel is vriendelijk en enthousiast en het terras is heel leuk om wat te drinken en te eten met uitzicht op de bergen!
Disliked - Twee nachten was er behoorlijk wat herrie. Duurde een ongeveer een uur voordat het weer stil was. Kwam volgens ons niet van de camping maar van verhuurde appartementen stukje verderop.

Een camping met alles wat je nodig hebt: prachtig uitzicht, heel proper sanitair en een overdekt zwembad waarvan het dak kan opengeschoven worden dus zwemplezier bij goed en slecht weer.
Er is een broodservice, een fijn bar/restaurant met wifi-punt.
Wij kwamen voor een week en zijn 11 dagen gebleven, vertrokken owv de felle wind en koude avonden anders hadden we nog langer gebleven.
Een camping met veel waar voor je geld!

Travelling party: Seniors

Op een rustige plek, op loopafstand van een echt Frans dorpje, ligt deze mooie camping. Bijna iedereen kijkt uit over de vallei en de bergen waar je prachtig kunt wandelen. Er was vorig jaar een nieuwe eigenaar die gelijk een nieuw sanitairgebouw had neergezet. Iedereen heeft een ruime plek. De sfeer is gezellig met mensen van alle leeftijden. Je kunt zwemmen in het overdekte zwembad op de camping (leuk voor kinderen), maar ook in het gemeentebad naast de camping. Echt vakantie en een plek om nog eens terug te komen!

Prachtig gelegen camping. Modern sanitair, mooi compact zwembad. Wel hier en daar onderhoud nodig. Vriendelijk personeel en goede ontvangst. Restaurant op de camping aanwezig, supermarkt in het dorpje. Goede toeristen informatie. Mooi wandelgebied. De route naar Die is aan te bevelen. Prachtige rit door een kloof met mooie uitzichten,

Prachtig gelegen stopplaats tussen Grenoble en Sisteron. Wel zorgen, dat je alles bij de hand hebt van eten en drank. Zgn. supermarkt in dorpje was gesloten.

Mooie camping met ruime kampeerplekken. Iedere plek heeft vrij uitzicht op de bergen, echt mooi. Eigenaren zijn vriendelijk, sanitair is super schoon. Gratis WiFi alleen bij de bar, op het terrein zelf geen bereik, jammer. Bij de bar haal je ook het bestelde brood af en kun je echt lekker eten. In de plaats een hotel/restaurant, een bakker/slager (in een pand), supermarkt, arts, postkantoor en een "la Cave", een bar met verkoop van tabac, brood, en regionale pruducten. Komen wij terug, ja zeker, een prachtige omgeving en een heerlijke rustige camping in het naseizoen.
