We intended to stay for a period of 4 nights in order to explore the surrounding areas. On arrival we became aware of several larger units being towed by vans. These turned out to be a group of Irish travellers accompanied by their numerous children who took over the swimming pool completely. The group were noisy at times and the children were allowed to roam over other campers sites. The first night was quiet at a reasonable time but the second night the "elders" were very noisy loading up their vans, slamming doors and talking loudly until near midnight. The garbage area was overflowing and rubbish was being deposited round the overflowing bins creating a nasty smell. We decided to leave the site next day. The reception was not open until 10am so we were unable to express our feelings to the owner. We also found the fees to be excessive as we were charged "Rental" for our electric box,and an extortionate tax - the largest amount by far we have ever been charged in Europe.
