ErlebnisCamping Lausitz is situated in a green and rolling landscape marking the border between the German states of Brandenburg and Saxony. This recently re-opened family campsite is small in scale and features spacious camping pitches on grass separated by bushes and trees. At the campsite, you can swim a few lengths in the swimming pool or bathe in a separate pool with a water slide and a whirlpool bath.

Spacious and comfortable pitches
The campsite itself isn't big; the pitches, on the other hand, are. Almost all the pitches are very spacious and are equipped with a water connection. Shrubs and hedges provide a natural form of demarcation and privacy on the campsite grounds. Everything on the campsite is well-maintained, including the sanitary facilities. ErlebnisCamping Lausitz has recently been re-opened, which may mean that a few buildings are still awaiting minor renovations.
Climbing, clambering, swimming and fishing
The swimming pool at the campsite has already been renovated and is ideal for swimming a few lengths. Next to this pool lies a shallower swimming pool with a water slide and a whirlpool bath. Can't get enough of the water? Next to the campsite, there is a lake where you can go fishing (for a fee). And the children can climb and clamber to their heart's content in the rocky playground.
Face to face with the wolf?
For basic supplies, visit the village of Ortrand next to the campsite. The extensive Königsbrucker Heide nature reserve is also situated close to the campsite. It's an area that is known for its varied flora and fauna, ensuring beautiful cycling and hiking trips. With a bit of luck - or not - you might even come across a wolf here.
